Maha wondered around the the bedroom in hers and Asir's house. She went to look for something. Whilst she was searching she opened up Asir's draw and found a letter addressed to her. She was reluctant but still she opened it.

To my beloved Wife,
By the way this was a rewrite. The first letter I wrote was the day I met you after the coffee shop, but I wasn't expecting to write about you.

I didn't expect to ever see you again, Maha. After all these years, I had convinced myself that you were just a distant memory from my past. But when we ran into each other at the coffee shop, something inside me stirred. I tried to shrug it off as a coincidence, but fate seemed to have other plans when we crossed paths again in Pakistan. My heart couldn't deny the feelings that were resurfacing for you. Yet, every time I see you or think of you, my mind is riddled with conflicting thoughts and emotions. A part of me wants to embrace this unexpected chance at love, while another part fears the complications that come with it. But despite the inner turmoil, I can't help but feel drawn towards you.

As kids, I was always fascinated by you. You seemed to live in your own world, and even in high school, I felt the need to protect you. On your birthday, I would get you chocolate, but I had to give it to your brother and ask him to pass it on to you instead of giving it directly myself.

To put it simply, I have strong feelings for you. My infatuation with you has been going on for quite some time. Actually, it's not just a mere infatuation; I am deeply in love with you, Maha Malik. I will continue to love you until the end of eternity, and I hope that we will also meet again one day in paradise.

From your beloved Husband, Asir Imran.

After reading that letter she had tears in her eyes. She heard the door open and see who it was. Asir. She waited for him to come inside before running to hug him. The letter was still in her hand.

"Woah what's this?" Asir embrace her back tighter before releasing her but his arms were still wrapped around her waist. She showed him the letter which took him by surprised.  "Oh, I forgot to give you that." She smiled and then buried her head in his chest. He stroked her head and laughed. "I love you too." She murmured in his shirt. "What, did you say?" She looked up at him and her eyebrows furrowed. "You know what I said." Asir just smiled. "I know what you said. I'm just joking." With that he planted a tender kiss on her forehead.
