The eventful weekend rolled over in a flash.Jasmine sits at her easel painting long blue strokes at the top, her mind at ease as her thoughts drift away from everything. She knows what today is.
'Parent teacher conference day"
To say she's nervous would be an understatement. Jasmine knows that her parents might not turn up, as they don't ever pay any interest to her life as she isn't pursuing what they wanted her to, but something at the back of her mind is telling her that today is going to go all wrong.
She finishes her painting quickly and grabs her stuff to head back to her dorm, she has two free hours before her last lecture so she decides to go to a small bookstore in the city.
Jasmine changes clothes into Sebastians warm old light brown sweater and her favourite pair of blue jeans. She grabs her bag and heads into the city.
Nestled between a charming cafe and a beautiful flower shop, the small old bookshop sits there covered in snow, its weathered wooden sign swaying in the wind, amber lighting that spills from vintage lamps illuminating the place beautifully. As Jasmine walks inside she's met with towering shelves lined with all sorts of old books, the air is rich with the scent of aged paper and freshly brewed coffee.
Jasmine strolls along the shelves until she lands on a book that moves her, she steps lightly on the creaky dark wooden floorboards as she sits herself in one of the overstuffed armchairs in the corner of the room. She lets her mind get lost in the moment as she rests her head back and cozy's into the warming aesthetic of the place.

(Sebastian POV)
Sebastian sits tiredly typing away at his laptop as usual.
It's 9:15pm on a Monday. And Sebastian can barely keep his eyes open, he rests his head in his hands as he breathes slowly. Sebastian can't believe he lost track of days, he never usually does, but after last night all he could think of was Jasmine.
He knows what he has to do if he wants to be with her, kiss her in public, hold her hand without a care in the world. But right now he has to focus on finishing marking papers before 'Parent Teacher conference' begins.
He runs his warm hands that are adorned with rings through his slicked back hair, he types away on his laptop, desperately trying to finish as his eyes attempt to force shut.
He always hates 'Parent Teacher conference" because if he knows what the students are like then what are the parents going to be like?
He sighs out as his finger presses the full stop. He leans back into his leather chair and rests his icy blue eyes. His mind finally at rest. He wonders if Jasmine's parents are going to show up, he wishes they will but also not. What if they find out that Jasmine's English Professor is also her boyfriend? They'll go insane.
