Girlfriend

Jade woke up to Elijah staring at her.

"Oh my god, did you sleep here?" She said to him.

"Well, you feel asleep on me and when I put you on your bed, you wouldn't let go of me, so I was kind of forced to." He said chuckling.

"Oh gosh, I'm so sorry."

"No it's alright. You're cute when you're sleeping."

Jade blushed. Whispering, she asked the question that was in her dreams that night.

"Why is it that I only met you yesterday, but it feels like I've known you for a lifetime?"

"Well," He brushed a strand of hair out of her face. "Well, honey, it's because we're soulmates."

"Yeah..yeah. I'm happy for that."

"I guess it is quite strange to ask, considering our situation. But old fashion love, why not?" Elijah rambled, and Jade just laughed.

"Get on with it, boy."

"Will you, Jade Amelia Lavender, be my girlfriend?"

"Yes, Elijah Evans. I will be your girlfriend."

Whenever she thought back on it, it was always strange how when she said that, his face lit up like a child on Christmas.

*10 minutes later*

"So, Ms. Lavender. What are the plans for this very fine day?" Elijah asked, as he waited for Jade to finish cooking breakfast.

"I haven't really thought of it, considering I woke up ten minutes ago."

"Oh, true. Guess I'll make the plans then." He replied, giddily.

"You already made plans, didn't you?" Jade asked, turning around the smirk at him.

"It's a surprise, Jade!"

"Fine, fine." She lay a plate of pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, and french toast in front of him.

"Meanwhile, eat up, boy."

*Later*

After Elijah and Jade had finished eating, he told her to be ready by 4:00 PM and then he's pick her up, for a night just for them.

"Sure thing. Bye, Elijah!"

"Bye, my beautiful!"

Jade checked her phone when he left. It was 1:00. She had 3 hours to do anything and get ready. She dialed her makeup artist and clothes specialist. Lauren.

"Hey, hey, hey, Jade! What's up?"

"Um, Elijah planned this entire day for us and you know I can't dress or do makeup for my life."

"I hear a call for help. Will be over in five."

Jade laughed, "Thanks, Superwoman. See you in a few, you know where the key is."

After she hung up, Jade sat on the couch. She lay her head back, smiling like crazy. She had found the love of her life, and there was nothing that could make her happier than this.
