In the aftermath of her friends having concocted a half-baked prank that had ended in the untimely demise of Hannah and Beth Washington, Maeve had lost majority of her friendships in consequence.
So in a rather frantic effort to avoid her feelings, Maeve had insisted on seeking comfort in solitude, taking the backseat to her own life.
But as the months began to pass and the anniversary date was looming, Josh helped Maeve to come to the realisation that she needed to take back control, she needed to finally face her feelings.
