Decision, Chapter 1

Tera woke up early which is unusual, school starts by 8:00AM, but she woke up by 6:00am today, normally she will wake up 9:00am and still go to school and be punished.
Tera walked down the stairs slowly as possible, she carefully sneaked to the kitchen, she went straight to the fridge, she opened it and took 3 red apples, she put one in her baggy Jean pocket and the other one in the other pocket, the last one was in her mouth. She was chewing it and moaning into it.
She carefully walked back upstairs and entered her room. She turned back and was startled when she saw a boy standing in front of her, close to her bed.
The apple fell from her mouth. It was her older brother, DAVIN, a 17 year old who is also in LM high school and would soon start college.
After regaining her conscious mind she quickly pick up the apple
"D..DAVIN?.. what're you doing here?" Tera stammered "You went to steal apple? Hm little sis?" Davin said deadly.
He used his magnetic powers and took the apple from her hand to his. Tera rolled her eyes and Davin saw that. "Ah you know we can always share, you know?" Tera said smiling trying to be smart. Davin looked at her and smile also at her with a knowing smile.
WAIT!
Let's go back to the place Davin use magnetic powers.
Well the Viston Family are born with powers, not only them, but many peoples in the world an that's why they go to LM high school, meaning
L- Learn M- Magic
But Tera is different she was born without powers, she was born a human, because she hasn't show any signs of power or strength. But Tera's parents once believed she will have powers one-day and will be revealed when she goes to LM high school.
Tera even went to Elementary magic school (EMS) but to no avail, so her parents gave up, so they will have to send her to human school, cause learning in a magic school can be kind of difficult for Tera.

Back To Present***
Yes, Davin, the great Davin, the best Davin, now she is sitting in front of her parents with a guilty smile. Of course Davin reported her.
"Tera, care to explain?" Mrs Viston said calmly,
And Tera smile lightly "Yes I was just hungry"
"And you decided to steal?" Mr Viston said angrily. Mrs Viston tried to calm him down. Tera is used to it already, she almost said 'let him speak ma'
Her father hates her and he doesn't even bother to hide it. "I said I was just hungry" Tera said calmly
"You will be transferred to L.B high school" Mrs Viston dropped the bomb "What?...why?" Tera stood
"Can't you see? You need to go there" Mr Viston said calmly this time
"But why? That school is for humans..... I'm I a human?" Tera said loudly
"Yes you are!!!!? You are!!!!!" Mr Viston yelled making Tera flinch.
"You're born without powers, sometimes I wonder whether you're my child or not......"
"Samuel!!?" Mrs Viston shouted and Samuel glared at her.
"Look at your brother, he possess your mother powers, but you, you have none" Samuel added yelling.
Tears fill up Tera's eyes, "okay then" she said and ran upstairs.
Davin followed
Mrs Viston tried calming Mr Viston.

TERA'S ROOM*****

"Don't cry Tera don't let it fall....., What am I saying? It's not like it will fall anyways" Tera said sadly and she laughed.
Tears in her eyes but was not falling.
She heard a knock, her ear moved slightly "who is there?" She asked calmly. She was on the floor , close to her bed, her knees to her jaw, she wrapped her hand around the knee, "It's Davin" he said, "Come in" she replied.
Davin had a plain look on his face as he looked at Tera he had a pity look immediately, he walked towards her direction, he bend towards her level "I am sorry, didn't know it will turn out like this" Davin said in a whisper, "it's okay" Tera said smiling. "So we won't see each other often?" Davin said calmly, finally sitting on the floor
"Yes I guess so" Tera said "the Pain of your neck is finally leaving you" Tera said "yeah" Davin said smiling and they laughed.
"You can steal more apples,this time I won't report" he said, raising his hand like he is doing an oath "No need for that, you won't see me at home too, L.B is a boarding School, remember, maybe mom and dad Don't want to see me" Tera snapped her finger. "yeah I just remembered" Davin muttered.
"I want to sleep, goodnight" Tera said sleepily climbing on her bed, "yeah, g'night" Davin said standing up, he walked towards the door, "should I off the lights?" He asked "No leave it on" Tera said and he nodded before closing the door gently
Tera smiled sadly
"Is it a crime to not have power in a magical family? I'm I cursed? Why don't I have powers like Nina, Mino, Flash...... All my friends and family has power except from me... Why?" Tera thought sadly and drifted to sleep
