Steve jerked awake slightly from the memory of going into the ice. He felt movement next to him and glanced down to see Ava nudging closer to him in her sleep. The simple silver wedding band on her finger caught the slight light from the sunrise. Steve studied her as she slept. Her hair was cascading all around her shoulders and over his arm that was wrapped around her. The sheet was laying low on her back, exposing the tattoo along it.

"You're staring." Ava mumbled, moving to her side to lay her head on Steve's chest, her leg sliding over his.

"Sorry, memory woke me up." Steve murmured as he ran his hand along her back.

"Surprised you were able to wake up." Ava responded as she wrapped her arm around him, her hand running gently along his chest.

Steve chuckled lightly. "How come?"

"You Captain are an animal." Ava murmured before placing a kiss on his chest. "I need more sleep before we go another round."

Steve smiled sslightly. "You sleep. I'm going to go for a run, then I'll bring us breakfast."

Ava hummed slightly, kissing his chin before falling back asleep.

Steve chuckled a little and slipped out of the bed. He tucked the blankets around Ava before dressing and leaving the hotel room. As he went to start his run, his phone rang, showing the ID Joy.

"Hello?" Steve answered tentatively.

"Good morning, Mr. Bossman. I am Joy Hogan, Ava's marvelous assistant and now yours. All news of your marriage is blocked. Congrats on nabbing Ava. She's been harder to get settled down than a Caribou migrating."

"Ummm... thanks.."

"Anyways, I've sent an ideal run path to your phone as well as set up for breakfast to be done in forty minutes for pick up."

"Thank you, Ms.."

"Call me Joy. Have fun on your jog."

Steve looked at his phone as the call disconnected and raised a brow. He shook his head slightly and headed out.
