Chapter 6: Soarin's real name

Once we entered the town an old mare walked up to us. She had a light pink mane with a lavender fur. She came towards us and we all said 'hello'

"Why hello darlings. How are you'll doing today?" she replied.

"Did she just call us darlings?" Spitfire whispered to Fleetfoot and she nodded in amusement. I chuckled at the fact that the Wonderbolts had never been called 'darling' before. Well I have been called 'darling' so many times especially by Rarity.

"We are good ma'am, how are you doing?" Applejack answered.

"I am well, thank you. Oh hello alicorn. What's your name?"

"I'm Twilight Sparkle" She introduced. She whispered to me "Finally someone who doesn't call me princess or any other royal title for a change" I just rolled my eyes.

"Oh my goodness, Prince Asher. I didn't see you there. My sincere apologies I didn't-" She bowed down to him and was cut of by Soarin.

"It's quite alright ma'am. It's been a long time since I have been called that" Wait PRINCE???? How is Soarin a prince? How do I recognize the name 'Prince Asher'?

She bowed down again and walked away saying "Prince if you need any help please don't hesitate to ask."

"Sure" he answered back.

By then we were all shocked with mouth's open and starry eyed, all of us too shocked to speak.

"So...*cough**cough*" Soarin said trying to break the silence.

"So you're a prince?" Spitfire asked so chill like. I have a feeling she's going to scream I just know.

"Yeeaah..." Soarin said unsure.

"WHY DID YOU NEVER TELL US??" Yup she screamed.

"Because I was supposed to keep it a secret, but I guess they recognize me"

"A secret? A secret??? A SECRET?? but why?" She calmed down at the last part.

"You will understand that later" Why is he so mysterious? And why do I start blushing when he speaks? I don't like him do I? Nope he is annoying!!

"Wait so you're a p-pr-prince?" Rarity said and then fainted.

"Is she okay?" Soarin asked

"Yeah she's fine, But then what should we call you?" I asked curiously

"Call me Soarin? Why what else do you want to call me?" He asked with a smirk.

"Nothing I was just asking" I said, OMG!! Why did I ask that?

"Sure... Right... Just asking" Fleetfoot nodded in agreement and then turned to me with a smirk. Come on I do not like him that way.

"Of course you don't Rainbow" Fluttershy teased. Did I say that out loud?

"Yeah you did Sugarcube" Applejack said. Oh curse me. No wait actually don't.

"We should have a party for the new royal" Pinkie said excitedly

"Uhmm, Pinkie pie, we already did that" Roseline responded

"And it's called a coronation, Pinkie" Twilight retorted

"Oh... yeah... that makes sense"

"Wait but why keep it a secret? we're still curious." Spike exclaimed. I guess he was speaking for all of us.

"You'll understand once the princesses talk to us" Soarin remarked.

"Okay..." Rarity said unsure. Oh look she's awake.

"She's awake guys" Pinkie yelled. Yeah no shit Sherlock.

"Soarin what other names do you have, besides the name Asher?" I asked completely ignoring Pinkie.

"Why wouldn't you like to know?" Spitfire taunted. I knew I was red from embaressment. WHy do I ask the most stupid questions?

"My whole name is 'Skylar Octavian Asher Reginald Ian Nathaniel Skies' all making the name 'Soarin Skies'" He said in a fit of giggles.

"Come on you'll let's head to the palace, the princesses must be waiting for us." Applejack requested.

"Yeah let's go, I despise being late for a meeting" Twilight muttered walking towards the palace and we all followed.
