Hanni despised everything about her life in her family, or rather she despised her life in its entirety. From her birth up to now on her twentieth birthday she still retained that same opinion about her existence. With all the things she hated within it, she was willing to bet that she was born under a cursed star since nothing but misery plagued him the moment she gained consciousness in a world set out to suppress her. All the weight of a thousand rules and expectations due to what she is became as tight as the collar around her neck that she cannot remove even if she want.

Hanni  is a miracle’ she had become a common saying among the people of there household. She was their miracle or so they say. She was their way out of a failing there family funds company on a low  economy shambles that it was at the brink of a collapse. Hanni was simply a miracle because she was an Omega and that meant the family would survive as long as she was wed off to a more successful family ruler in order to merge the two family. That way Pham family would be saved from its expected demise.

The young girl became aware of the fact that she was simply a tool and a means to an end at the tender age of ten. She had started going through the pains of presenting as an Omega and her body was tearing itself apart. But her maids, the people who have raised her since she was a toddler merely rejoiced while she laid in her bed writhing in agony. Seeing the smiles on their faces as they told her what is a great thing on the world broke her heart. How could they cruelly celebrate when she was in so much pain that it felt like death?

              It was her first heartbreak.

And ever since then she'd realized how no one truly cared for her as a person but rather only saw her as a key to save the family and themselves. Hanni had started acting out. She rebelled against every rule the school scholars and teachers tried to impose on her about becoming a proper Omega

Omegas were expected to be physically short and thin, basically be as delicate looking as possible. It attracted Alphas better and helped keep Omegas appear unimposing and thus not eye-catching next to their Alpha mate. Hanni couldn’t do much about the height aspect but she always made sure to stand as tall and straight as she could, making use of her full height wherever she would go. She also started building slight muscle, better up her frame, and she even trained with the other activities like taekwondo’ mandated regular training regime in order to not remain stick and bones.

Omegas were supposed to eat with proper dining etiquette. Hanni ate like a slob, sometimes using her hand.

Omegas always wore proper formal attire of either glittering dresses or fancy suits. She wore the cheapest ones she could buy in the market. She wore her clothes carelessly, and sometimes even going outside her wearing not revealing outfits,

Omegas were supposed to have fair unblemished skin. Hanni was naturally pale as snow but she didn’t let that stop her from breaking that expectation as well. She went covering it so that people can't see it,

Her mother and father of Pham also could not do much to correct hanni's behavior since she never felt emotionally close to either of her parents. None of their scathing corrections could affect her into changing. They were both fool and they still carried themselves as such, but Hanni knew both of them silently resented her for being an Omega. She knows this because she had overheard them talking about it once. She was sixteen when she heard her own father curse her name and her own mother lament giving birth to her.
