When I finally see Walker, i'm awkwardly sat on my suitcase amongst the bustle of the airport. He's standing beside Leah, rolling his eyes as she's talking. She finally spots me and screams, sprinting straight towards me. I envelop her in my embrace, resting my chin on her shoulder. I look over to Walker, admiring how he seems to have gotten even more handsome - after only a month apart.
"Hi, Lele," I whisper, squeezing her.
"Cassie, I have been waiting forever for you to come back here!" she snaps impatiently, leaning back. She grabs my shoulders and shakes them furiously, disapprovingly glaring with a mischievous smile. "My sincerest apologies, Lele. I missed you."
"I missed you too. Now go say hello to Walker. He's been sulking all month waiting to see you again."
A giddy expression graces my features as I break away from Leah and walk over to Walker, excitement contained into the bounce in my step.
"Walks," I breathe, arms flung over his shoulder. I merely look up at him, fingers teasing the ends of his ringlets. "Vancouver is so pretty."
He nods, eyes fixed on mine.
"First class, huh?" he says finally, awkwardly stepping away from me. I hardly realised how compromising our contact had been. I chew my bottom lip, nodding. "It was so comfy. They kept on bringing me food and drinks."
"How come your mom didn't come with you?"
"Gerald is awful at taking care of Wes, and dad is on a business trip to god knows where," I frown, clasping my hands behind my back. "Ugh, I miss Wes already."
"Wow, you're so excited to see me." He takes my suitcase and I follow beside him as we head towards the exit. Leah catches up, and they both talk about how filming went.
We hail a taxi and head straight to the hotel they've called home for the past year. It's ridiculously luxurious, clean and posh. I feel like I can't do anything but whisper as we navigate the halls to the elevator. Leah's room is a few down from Walkers. The whole floor has been bought out for the cast and crew.
"Bow-legs!" I gasp, hugging Aryan when he peeks out from his room. I see Dior and we gush to eachother about music we're working on. She begs to read all my new songs and I promise we'll hang out soon. I talk with Charlie and compliment his outfits - I absolutely adore his style - and then awkwardly teeter in the hallway, unsure of which room to take.
"Are there any extra's?" I ask Walker.
"Nope." He shuffles on his feet, hand buried in his hair. "We've had sleepovers before," he points out. I'm sure he can hear my heart pounding as I nod casually and follow him into his room.
When I see the bed, I gasp. "Oh, you are blessed," I coo, throwing myself down onto the quilt. "This is perfect."
"Oh, by the way, we're having a dinner to celebrate wrapping up on set, if-"
"Yes! I have the perfect outfit." I crawl over to the edge of the bed and tug my suitcase on top. Walker sits beside me, listening to me gush about the clothes I've brought. "Wait! What are you wearing?"
