"Our first show will be in two days, so for the time being we all need to decide what you all want to do and rehearse!" Says Steve as he paces the hotel room we're all sat in. "I'll give you guys an hour to decide then we gotta get going with rehearsals" he continues then leaves.
Everyone got into little groups, they obviously know what they want to do already. I just sat on the bed looking down at my phone. I guess I'm just gunna sing by myself. I flicked through my songs deciding on what I wanted to sing and I chose Adele- Make You Feel My Love. There was no reason behind it just felt like a bit of Adele.
After about 30 minutes everyone had decided what they wanted to do and were now just scrolling through their phones. A few made snapchats and a few laughed over new vine ideas. I just sat there awkwardly not really knowing anyone.
"Hey so you're Lola right?"
I turned round and was faced with a cute brown haired boy. "Yeah" I replied with a smile. "And you're Shawn?" I asked
"That's me" he said. "So I was thinking that we should sing together? I've watched some of your covers on YouTube and you're so talented!"
I blushed and smiled. "Thank you but I'm nothing compared to you, you're amazing!"We sat and talked for the rest of the time, deciding on what to sing that will fit best with our vocals.
The time flew by and Steve came back. He directed us all down to the stage and first to preform was Jack and Jack. They did a little nerd vandals skit to introduce the show, which was actually quite funny.
Whilst I waited for my turn to rehearse I sat myself on a sofa behind stage and scrolled through Twitter. I followed a few people and retweeted some of their tweets until I was interrupted by someone sitting down on the sofa next to me.
"How you feeling lightweight" said Gilinsky
"Oh shut up" I replied rolling my eyes then giggling
"No but for real, how are you feeling? How's your ankle or foot or whatever?" He said
"It's fine, why do you ask?" I say confused
"You fell over last night?"
"I did?"
"You did"
"I don't remember that" I laughedJack's POV
She doesn't remember. That means she won't remember what she said that night. Should I bring it up? She might remember then?
Just as I was about to say something Madison called for me and I followed the sound of her voice.I turned the corner to see Madison leaning against the wall.
"Hi baby" she greeted me then pulled me into a hug. I hugged her back and returned the hug. "We still on for our date tonight?" Madison asked.
Shit! I had completely forgotten. I'd been so worried about Lola that I hadn't booked a table for me and Madison. "Of course baby!" I say, a slight tone of worry in my voice. "Be ready for 7, this will probably be our last date for awhile with the tour and everything"
"Well then lets make it count" replied Madison inching closer, our lips barely touching. We were interrupted by a cough by Johnson. "Sorry to ruin this moment but we're needed on stage" He said to me. I kissed Madison on the cheek and went with Johnson to the stage. It was our turn to practice our performance again. We'd chosen to sing Wildlife and invite everyone on stage, including some generals from the audience.
Once we'd finished our run through it was Lola's turn to preform. I'd only heard one or two of her covers on YouTube and they were amazing! She walked up onto the stage and was shaking. She looked so adorable yet so frightened. The music started and she closed her eyes and began to sing.
Amazing was an understatement. I was speechless. She has the voice of an angel.
When she was finished everyone was silent. They were all taken aback by her singing that they had no words.
Steve began to clap, making us all snap out of our trance and start clapping too. Lola's cheeks blushed red and she smiled. She has a beautiful smile.
