The Duke's Heiress Said No Twice

Lord Edmund and Lady Eleanor first child, Lady Jeanette Virginia is the first daughter born into a Brave New World on Star Base 12, she is born in between Lord Frederick William Howard, Lord Philip Thomas Carey, and Lord Richard Devereux, and only then are some other daughters born.

There are several daughters born in the year 2165, Lady Jeanette Virginia, Lady Beatrice Capet, Lady Annabelle Stuart, Lady Ida Hastings, Lady Mary Neville, Lady Margaret Capet.

Two are the daughters of The Noble House of Capet, One is from the Noble House of Habsburg, One is from The Noble House of Stuart and two are the daughters of a Baron.

The Capet brothers, one is a Duke and One is a Count, Lady Margaret is the daughter of an Archduke, and two are the daughters are Dukes on Star Base 12.

Lord Frederick William Howard has set his heart on Lady Jeanette Virginia Beaufort, but on Star Base 12 in the year of 2165, he wasn't the only son born on Star Base 12 and since there is seniority on Star Base 12 between the nobles.

Lord Frederick William Howard is given no preference as Lord Patrick William Howard son and heir as their other sons in line for the father's titles and not all the sons of a Duke, some are the sons of an Earl, some are the sons of a Count, and some are the sons of a Baron.

It is for every son for himself and they have to win the heart of the young woman that they love without the interference of their fathers.

Lord Frederick William Howard is left to fend for him and win the love and heart of Lady Jeanette Virginia Beaufort.

The sons of Star Base 12 are asked to consider all the young women who are either five years younger than they are and their luck may increase.

Lord Frederick William Howard would not give up and he told his father " If I can't marry Lady Jeannette Virginia Beaufort. I won't marry at all."

"I don't care for any of these other women on Star Base 12 and I don't want to be married to Lord Stuart's daughter." Lord Frederick explains.

"I am too good for the daughter of a Baron, or a count, and then there is only Lady Margaret." Lord Frederick William explains.

Lord Patrick William Howard raises his eyebrow and tells his son " No one is any better than anyone else here, Lord Frederick William. There is no seniority or rank here."

"We are equal in peerage here on Star Base 12, on Planet Dukes are the highest peers in England, Ireland, Scotland and France and every place else. Then comes a Marquis, then comes an Earl, Viscount, and then a Baron and Count. Between a Duke and Marquis is an Archduke." Lord Patrick William explains

"You are no better than any other child on Star Base 12 just because you are my son." Lord Patrick William states.

"I have Lady Elizabeth Ann to worry about, Lord Frederick William.. You are not my only child." Lord Patrick William explains.

"Lady Elizabeth Ann is only a girl." Lord Frederick William exclaims.

Lord Patrick William then becomes angry at Lord Frederick William and he tells him " I don't want to hear that again from you, Lord Frederick William. If you think you are irreplaceable, think again. My Dukedom is left to me who will inherit it."

'Lady Elizabeth is very precious to your mother and me." Lord Patrick William states.

"She is very close to Lady Jeannette and her brother, Lord Thomas." Lord Patrick William explains.

"You are just a boy. " Lord Patrick William states " One day if you marry and you hold your daughter in your arms. You will feel differently.' Lord Patrick William states.
