The Therapist and The Mafia King

Chapter 2: Argument

Yuvlin got her helmet and started wearing her shoes as her mother came from the other room saying,

"Now you are gonna say why we are always stopping you from doing things when you clearly know how dangerous it is for women nowadays." Yuvlin didn't reply. Her mother continued,

"Now you are not even replying to me... Of course you aren't gonna listen to me, to none of us after all you never actually listened to us anyway..."

Yuvlin stopped after hearing those last words and so did Yuvlin's mother. Yuvlin lifted her head and looked at her mother and said,

"This was not my home and it never will be. It's surprising how you didn't say something like "this attitude will only be accepted here. It's not gonna work at your in-laws house." How surprising."

Yuvlin's mother looked into Yuvlin's eyes. She couldn't say anything about this. Yuvlin's father approached them in anger. It was Wednesday that day Yuvlin knew he had already drank a few glasses. Her father said,

How can you talk to your mother in that way? Hmm? And where are you going during the evening?" Yuvlin was already tired of them but she had to reply at least.

"Nothing. And I am going to my house. I don't see any reason to stay here anymore after all my efforts mean nothing to everyone in this household." Her father just looked at her in anger. Yuvlin continued,

"And I am certain that me being not here is better for everyone since its much more peaceful without me here. No arguments, no picky eaters, no worries and useless tension." Yuvlin's father said in a loud voice,

"Yes, without you it's much more peaceful in the house and I am thankful you realised that without me having to decipher it for you."

Yuvlin didn't say anything after hearing that. Yuvlin's mother spoke with concern in her voice,

"Dear, you shouldn't say that... She is your daughter." Her father replied,

"But she is behaving like this. What am I to do?" Yuvlin stood up and left in a hurry. Millions of thoughts were going through her head at that time.
