Nozomi: "You think I want the crystal to save humanity? No, I'll use it to strengthen myself with it."

Realization dawned on me. That explained why she wanted the crystal. She was already a vampire.
I managed to escape from the ropes and break free from the metal restraints. I ran as fast as I could, hoping that Nozomi wouldn't chase after me.

The next day, I decided to take a break and go to a cafe. I put on a medical mask to avoid being recognized since I was wanted. It was winter anyway, and the mask wasn't out of place.

I walked into the cafe and approached the counter. The cafe owner greeted me with a smile.

"Excuse me, could I get a normal coffee, please?"
The cafe owner nodded and replied, "Sure thing, your order will be ready in a moment."

As I waited for my order, the lights suddenly flickered and the door behind me clicked shut. I turned around and realized that the door was locked. The tension in the room grew palpable.

Then, I heard a familiar voice behind me..

"Well, well, well, if it isn't Yamiko."

My heart skipped a beat as I recognized the voice. It was... Nozomi. The evil scientist who wanted the crystal within my heart.
So the cafe worker was Nozomi..
I froze, unsure of what to do. But then, my eyes darted to a window with a lock and a pepper spray on the counter behind the cafe worker. I knew I had to act fast.

I grabbed the pepper spray and sprayed Nozomi in the face, trying to buy myself some time to escape. Her vision momentarily blurred, and I took the chance to break the window, throwing the pepper spray outside before escaping through it.

I ran as fast as I could, but suddenly someone grabbed me from behind, wrapping an arm around my neck and cutting off my air supply. Everything started to blur as I lost consciousness.

When I woke up, my mouth was covered, but it wasn't in a rough or painful way. I was lying down, and I could hear two men talking quietly to each other.

One of them was Ren, the mysterious stranger I had encountered before. I recognized his face and his black hair and red eyes, just like mine. The other man remained mysterious, with yellow eyes and black hair. They were discussing something quietly, but I could hear enough to understand their words. "Should we tell her?", one of them asked. "Not yet", the other replied.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Were they talking about me? And who was this other man with Ren? As I listened, I felt like I was trapped in a strange dream. Ren approached me and removed his mask, revealing his face fully. He looked at me intently, as if trying to convey a message.

His eyes met mine, and something clicked in my brain. I remembered my father - his eyes were yellow, just like the unknown man's, and my mother's eyes were red, just like Ren's.

Ren spoke, his voice eerily calm. "You do remember what happened to father, right, Yamiko?"
