Why am I the only one speaking? (hawks x reader)

Part 8- Fall

So it was just me blade and Viper, we were stuck in this puzzle game, something like an escape room.

"We have 15 minutes to get the key!" Blade calls out and we rush to finish all the puzzles.

The first few puzzles were easy but me and Viper bumped into each other, we both fell down and a huge opening came open, we fell into the dark pit and it closed above us, I fell on top of him but when I tried to get up I hit my head, this pit wasn't big so I had to lean against him "great"

"I'll get you out! One second" blade worried runs away to find the opening.

"Your leaning on me, move" viper hissed

"If you weren't so big I would have space, it's also not a big pit so accept it"

"I haven't seen you use your quirk once, why" I could feel his hand move away from my body

"Because why would I need too, this isn't just about using quirks you know" I crossed my arms and moved my mask up a bit.

"Okay but before?" He kept on questioning.

"Just help me find something to get us out, our consoles beeped and something new was shown on the screen "prepare for" It showed, a huge beam of light filled the pit, two chains came out the consoles and attached both of ours together "WHAT!" He yelled, the console read 'arguing will not be tolerated, punishment gave'

So if you argue you get punishment, it makes sense

"It's okay relax, we only have 10 minutes" I adjusted my skirt and pushed myself away from him as much as I could but our body's were still trapped inside this pit, I could use my quirk now

Thankfully it was dark, I opened my pouch and  grabbed a capsule, popped it open and drank it all, my body changed and I felt my hands get hotter

"Grab my hand" He did as I told and I created small explosions above us, it then turned to bigger ones and the pit was eventually broken open, I climbed out and helped him up

"Is that-" blade curiously looked at my face, I put my gloved hand on his mouth before he could say anything else, Viper just coughed due to the smoke and opened his eyes to look at me

"So this is your quirk in Action, we have 5 minutes" he walked away, he didn't look too impressed but I was going to ignore it, We finished the last puzzle and the box opened to reveal a digital key, we unlocked his console and green plastered on all of our consoles, I turned back and the boys quickly turned their heads, I was used to it so I just collected my clothing and changed into them.

The door opened and we found Haloics golden string covering the opening, it slowly disappeared and she revealed herself, her veil was ripped at the bottom and there was a slight cut on her cheek "we passed" she muttered with her eyes closed.

"Did you fight out here?" Blade asked with a worried look, she nodded and walked away, she was one strong girl.

We reached the area for passed participants. And waited for the next few tests.

-TIMESKIP-

It was now the final test and there was only 40 people left, not much. I could see Haloic, blade and viper. They all seemed in good condition, I managed to supply myself with some blood from my opponents, not enough to actually do damage though, just a distraction.

The final test was a big one, it was the test to see if we can help civilians and protect them from enemies at the same time.

It was mid test when I was taking a fake injured towards the healing base, there was many hero's aiding the area including Haloic healing any injures, I smiled and lightly placed the injured down, she had her eyes closed and bowed her head in respect.

I went to help more people until there was a big explosion, and more enemies seemed to come out of the shadows

"They're getting closer!" Someone shouted, using their shield to block attacks.

"Look! It's a pro hero.." there was a figure, I couldn't quite see who it was but once I saw I froze, hawks..

"He's too fast!!" Someone else shouted, hawks.. no this isn't the time for revenge, it was never supposed to happen.

I brushed aside the feeling dwelling up in me and rushed to help.

I took out another capsule and drank it, my body sculpted and I was my friend again, thank you for aiding me Katsuki, i grinned and shot an explosive beam towards the enemies, a something sharp grazed my cheek and someone was right next to me pinning my hands away.

"Wow.. funny to meet you here" he grinned and flew up really high with my hands confined, "How are you kid? Tuff being a newbie hero right!" He smiled and kept on flying up, way too high

"Why aren't you speaking? Also why are you here" he stoped going up and held me up by my hands.

"Im not who you think I am" I kneed his stomach, he released my hands

"Big mistake" he was flying under me, I shot a big beam and he was directly hit, I chuckled until I realised I was also falling, I made tiny explosions to try support my fall but I wasn't exactly trained in using Katsukis quirk, also my time was up.

My body returned to its normal naked self and I was closing in to the ground "Hold on!" I heard a familiar voice, Viper!

He quickly held onto me and took us down safely, he had a shocked expression, he was also checking if I had any injuries.

"Im fine, you can put me down now.." He flinched and quickly placed me down, I giggled and went to find my clothes before anyone else saw me.

I changed quickly and put my mask up, someone came behind me and shook my shoulders,

"TOGAAA you were really good!! We saw that huge beam and came straight to support you! But when we got there we saw Hawks tied up on the ground, thankfully for Haloic!" Blades smile beamed, the pale girl came up behind him and had the same straight expression.

"The tests are now over" she shook my hand and left with Blade, viper came behind me and ruffled my hair.

"Thanks for saving me" I took his large hands off my head and skipped away to the results screen, we all waited impatiently until the names popped up on the screen, there was cheering, crying and laughing as I looked for my name

I PASSED!!

Tears came down my cheeks and I felt a big warmth in my body, I finally achieved something!
