Finally, the weekend has come, some breaks for Isaac before his tight schedule is on again and today, he got to spend his time with his lovely wife at his mother's place. It has been a routine since they got married two years ago that once every two weeks, they will come over to Mama Carter's three bedrooms house and spend their weekend at the old lady's place. Isaac admits, it wasn't his idea at first, but Amaryllis was the one insisting. Before he got married to Amaryllis, he rarely comes home and usually cooked up at the office or Adelia's place. Adelia herself rarely reminds him of visiting his mother but Amaryllis is different. She always gently reminding him about his mother and said how lucky he is that he can still feel a mother's love in his life. During the early stage of their marriage, Amaryllis even sneakily paying visits to her mother-in-law when the weekend come. Another quality that without Isaac realizes it, make him fall deeper in loves with his lovely wife.
Isaac looks at Amaryllis who still busy doing something at the study table, grinning like an innocent child and sometimes chuckling to herself. Isaac keeps eyeing his wife with a smile on his face while folding his arms across his chest as his wife looks like as if she totally forgot his existence. "What are you doing?" Isaac asks out of curiosity and Amaryllis quickly hides her 'art' from Isaac's eyes. "Nothing..." she said, grinning widely at Isaac and she slips the well handwritten card into a heart shaped box and hides it away from Isaac's eyes. "Hum...I think my wife hide something from me..." Isaac said again, as he walks closer and closer to Amaryllis. Amaryllis put up innocent, acting like she has done nothing wrong and try her best to hide the box and the card from Isaac's eyes.
"I don't think that my wife is a good liar..." Isaac begins as without realizing it, Isaac walks to Amaryllis, lifting her wife up bridal style swiftly as he carries the squeaking wife of his and put her down on the bed. Amaryllis is about to wiggles away when Isaac wrap his arms around her slender waist and pulls her close. "Now...speaks...what are you hiding so effortlessly from me?" Isaac asks playfully as his fingers begin moving up and down on Amaryllis's side.
"No...no...tickles...stop...stop..." Amaryllis begs several times before she manages to escape for a while by kissing Isaac's lips. Isaac was left dumbfounded for a moment as he enjoys the taste of his wife's lips against his before his eyes slowly met with the grinning victoriously woman. "I'll tell you," Amaryllis said as she gives the heart-shaped box to her husband and smile softly. Isaac opens the box and reaches for the handmade card, decorated beautifully by Amaryllis since the wife of his always has tons of idea inside her head. Isaac keeps reading the card before he looks at Amaryllis. Soon, he put the card down, and then he pulls Amaryllis close to him, snuggling close to Amaryllis as he buried his face on Amaryllis's soft and silky chest length hair. He inhales Amaryllis's scent and can't help but to feel touch at the words written on the card.
"Isaac?"
"Just let me hold my wife like this for a while because she deserves it...and I really want to cuddle up quietly with her," Isaac said, whispering softly as he restrains himself from letting the tears from falling. Amaryllis who is oblivious about the emotion turmoil she had caused toward her husband only smiles as she hugs Isaac's back, snuggling closer. "Okay..." she answered as she begins humming a song silently, a habit she begins to develop since childhood. Her hand gently patting her husband's back thoughtlessly, making the older man feels even more loved by his wife. Isaac, after he manages to gather up his smile again, grin at the melodious voice. Slowly, his fingers begin moving towards the side of Amaryllis's waist.
"Those tickles!!!" Amaryllis screams as her unique duck-like squeaks echoes inside the bedroom while chuckling when Isaac start to tickles her again. The promise of having just a quiet snuggles left as promise when Isaac changes his plan on kiss attacking his wife first and laughs when Amaryllis starts to wiggle away. He of course wouldn't let his wife away easily. When Amaryllis is about to crawl using her hands to get out of the bed, Isaac catches Amaryllis's legs instead and pulls the 'running away' woman into his embrace and tickles the poor girl endlessly. "No...no...please...spare me...mom!!" Amaryllis shouts loudly causing Mama Carter who still busy preparing the table for their teatime quickly heads to the room that the couple shared together. "Amaryllis, what's wrong?!" the old lady asks and then she just facepalm herself when she see that his son is still tickling her daughter-in-law and plant kisses all over her face.
