A slender and somewhat stoic six-year-old with spiky, unruly black hair and sharp blue eyes, Megumi Fushiguro walked home from his elementary school. His clothes were neatly pressed, and his small frame carried a backpack that seemed almost too big for him. The late afternoon sun cast long shadows on the sidewalk, and Megumi's eyes narrowed as he sensed someone trailing a few steps behind him.

He adjusted his backpack straps when he couldn't stand walking further while pretending to be oblivious to the two
figures following a couple feet from behind him. His frustration bubbled over, and he abruptly spun around, his blue eyes flashing with irritation.

"You know I can tell you're following me, don't you? You're not as subtle as you think you are." Megumi snapped, his voice carrying a surprising firmness for someone so young.

Satoru Gojo, a tall and imposing figure with strikingly pale hair and piercing blue eyes, stopped in his tracks, taken aback by the unexpected confrontation. Next to him stood Ino Gojo, his baby sister, a petite 5-year-old with the same silver hair style and surprised expression. Ino's round eyes widened a bit as their pursuit had been discovered.

Satoru chuckled heartily, scratching the back of his head. "Ii-chan, we're gonna have to work on your stealth."

Ino, her petite frame barely reaching her brother's knee, narrowed her eyes defiantly. Her silver hair bounced as she crossed her arms in mock indignation. "Hey, it's not my fault we got spotted!" she protested, her voice carrying a hint of sass. "It's your fault for being so tall and stalky." she gestured towards her brother's towering figure, her cheeks puffed out in a comical pout.

Satoru laughed even louder, his booming voice echoing down the quiet street. "Alright, alright, you got me there, Ii-chan," he admitted, ruffling her silver hair affectionately. "But we were just trying to make sure you got home safe, Megumi."

Megumi's eyes narrowed slightly. "I don't need babysitters," he muttered, adjusting his backpack again. "I can take care of myself."

Ino, still pouting, looked up at Megumi with a mix of admiration and determination. "Well, maybe we just wanted to make sure you weren't lonely," she said, her smile cheeky. "And besides, it's more fun when we walk together."

Megumi's frown deepened as he looked from Satoru to Ino. He wasn't used to having anyone show interest in his well-being, and it made him uncomfortable and restless. "Who even are you? And why do you care if I'm lonely or not?" he asked bluntly, his tone sharp and guarded. His usual reserved nature had him on edge, unsure of how to react to their unexpected presence.

Ino and Gojo exchanged a glance, both amused by Megumi's straightforwardness. They were used to people being intimidated by their presence, but the young boy seemed almost unimpressed. "We're just a few friendly faces," Gojo said smoothly, a cheeky grin on his lips.

Megumi's eyes flicked between Gojo and Ino, his expression unreadable. He wasn't easily fooled, and their innocent act wasn't enough to dismiss his suspicion. "I don't need your company," he retorted, his tone laced with a hint of irritation. "I'm used to walking home alone, and I like it that way."

Ino, not at all put off by Megumi's cold responses, skipped over to his side, her silver hair bouncing with each light step. She grinned up at him with a mixture of mischief and determination in her bright eyes.

Megumi watched her, his arms still crossed in a defensive manner. A flicker of curiosity danced in his eyes as he took in her exuberant demeanor.

Despite her young age, she barely came up to Megumi's shoulder. Her petite frame and youthful innocence clashed with his slender but slightly more mature stature. Her silver hair, always in motion, seemed to reflect the sunlight, adding to her vibrant presence.
