The trail up Inwangsan was steep and winding, the sun beating down mercilessly. Ana and Hajun, trudged along in silence, the weight of their unspoken words hanging heavy in the air. Their relationship, once a closely guarded secret, had been exposed to the world, and now they need to decide what is next after the expose'.
"Hajun," Ana finally broke the silence, her voice barely a whisper. "We need to talk."
Hajun nodded, his gaze fixed on the path ahead. He knew what she was going to say. She would tell him that their relationship was bad for his career and that they needed to protect his image at all costs.
Ana took a deep breath. "Hajun. I know this is hard, but we have to break up."
Hajun''s heart ached. He had loved Ana with all his heart, and the thought of losing her was unbearable.
As they continued their hike, Ana couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness. She had been so happy with Hajun, and it was all ending. She wondered if she would ever be able to love someone else the same way. They were married for 2 years, they were happy.
Hajun, on the other hand, was determined to fight for their relationship. He knew that breaking up would be the easy way out, but he wasn't willing to give up on their marriage without a fight.
"We can't just give up," he said. "We have to find a way to make this work."
Ana looked at him, her eyes filled with doubt. "How?" she asked. "How can we keep our marriage a secret when the whole world knows about it?"
Hajun smiled. "We can go public," he said. "We can tell the world that we're married. That is one of the option the Agency has on the press release. They just need our decision. The agency are prepared for this to happen"
Ana's eyes widened. "Are you serious?" she asked.
Hajun nodded. "I'm serious. I love you, Ana, and I'm not going to let you go. If we go public, we can control the narrative. We can show the world that we're a happy, loving couple, and that our relationship doesn't have to be a secret."
Ana was stunned. She had never considered the possibility of going public. She had always assumed that it would be too risky, that it could ruin Hajun's career. But now, hearing him talk about it with such passion, she wasn't so sure.
"What if it doesn't work?" she asked. "What if the fans turn on us?"
Hajun took her hand. "We'll face it together," he said. "I promise."
As they reached the summit of Inwangsan, Ana and Hajun stood side by side, overlooking the city below. They knew that their future was uncertain, but they were determined to face it together. And for the first time in a long time, Ana felt a glimmer of hope.
