Chapter 1- Sacrifice

"I don't want to go!" Rose wailed as tears fell down her face. Ivy watched from inside the cave she didn't want to be here either but she was determined to survive, even when they said it was impossible. Lily cowered next to Ivy. Ivy could see Rowan trying to fight back but it was no use. Ivy and her siblings lived without parents, because of this the townspeople deemed them worthless and decided to sacrifice them to a monster. They threw Rowan in and sealed the entrance with one of the biggest rock Ivy had ever seen. Ivy looked around.

"Guys look there's a crate!" Ivy exclaimed. Rowan bounded over and opened it.

"There's a bunch of supplies in here!" Rowan yelled from at the crate. Ivy was overjoyed at the discovery. Lily, Rose, and Ivy wasted no time in running over to gather supplies.

The group had been walking for a long time and everybody was tired. Then all of a sudden they saw a figure it looked like a man they started walking towards him. As Ivy got closer she could see that the man had a black drippy appearance but it was a man right? Ivy saw bright red eyes and now she was questioning if it was actually a man. The man started to walk towards the group.

The man made a sound, "Screeeeeeeee" it sounded like nails on a chalkboard. That is when Ivy realized that they were walking towards the monster.
