"GOOOOD MORNING MY SUPER STARS!~☆" Caine shouts with exaggeration after rounding up his exhausted crew.

Everyone gave him a blank stare as he awkwardly floated beside Bubble, waiting for a reply.

"Aaaaaanyway..." he said, scratching his metaphorical head awkwardly.

"I have a new adventure for you all today! One you'll ALL love!" he exclaims, shooting a look at Zooble, who rolls their eyes in response.

Pomni and Gangle sigh, Jax smirks and Ragatha let's out a small smile, everyone fed up of these 'adventures'.

"What's on the menu for today then?!" Bubble asks, trying to bring the enthusiasm for Caine.

"Brilliant question Bubble! Today our lovely crew will be going BACK to Candy Canyon Kingdom!" Caine replies, making Pomni throw her head into her hands, remembering what happened last time they went there.

"Do we have to?..." she mumbled, Ragatha sympathetically patting her shoulder.

"Indeed we do! It seems that SOMEONE cause quite the problem last time we paid them a visit, and it needs to be put right!" Caine glared at Jax on the word 'someone', Jax giving a sadistic smirk in response.

You sighed deeply, really not in the mood for Caines antics today. Zooble started to tap their foot impatiently, waiting for Caine to finish his endless and pointless talking.

"Off you go!" Opening a portal, Caine led them in.

"Nope still not going on these stupid adventures..." Zooble mumbled, walking in the other direction.

You stood there for a moment, helpless. You really didn't want to go on another adventure, to be honest you just wanted to stay with Zooble. Then, Caine started to push you into the portal by your back, making you yelp.

"Caine! They aren't going if they don't want to." Zooble shouted, coming back to pull you away from him by the hand.

"But-I-" Caine stammered, unsure of what to do.

The portal abruptly closed, leaving you behind with Zooble, who still had a grip of your hand. Rolling their eyes at Caine once again, they led you away with them, leaving Caine's mouth-head agape.

"Thanks Zoobs..." You said, a soft blush appearing on your face.

"Anytime. I hate Caines stupid adventures and I don't want you getting dragged into them all the time. Plus I know you had a pretty tough time at the Candy Can-whatever last time." They replied, walking to their room with you.

Zooble soon realised that they still had a grasp of your hand and quickly pulled away, hoping you weren't bothered. You felt a small twang of pain in your heart, wishing you still had the comfort of their hand.

"Soooo...you wanna just hang out for the day?" Zooble asked, opening their door.

You nodded enthusiastically with a smile, following them inside. They sat down on their bed, slumped over as you laid on the floor. Zooble sat watching you as you started to draw, mostly just doodling shapes on a page. Little did Zooble know, it was representative of them, a beautiful and colourful array of all that comes with Zooble and their personality.

"I feel like we don't get enough time together. Alone." You said, looking up at them longingly.

With a feeling of embarrassment and love, Zooble turned away from you, unable to bear looking into your beautiful eyes.

"Yeah..." They mumbled, staring in another direction.

You frowned slightly and sat up, feeling worried. 'Did I do something wrong? Oh god they hate me...' Horrible thoughts began to trouble your head, your heart aching. You couldn't deny that you liked Zooble. They always made you happy and comfortable, and even took you away from Caines stupid situations. Nobody had ever made you feel so cared for before, and now it was all you craved.

"I-I can leave if you need me to-" You stammered, quickly being cut off by Zooble, who grabbed your hands.

"No, no, please. Stay. You worry too much, you didn't even do anything close to wrong." They insisted, making your face heat up again.

"Of course!" You said, squeezing their hands lovingly.

Zooble was mostly in denial. They knew they loved you, but didn't want to admit it. They didn't even know their own full identity, never mind a whole love life. Yet you were all they wanted, consuming their life. You almost seemed like the one 'Zooble part' that would ACTUALLY fit for them.

"Let me take you somewhere else." They said, pulling you up go stand.

After walking through the circus for a while, you both came to a strange door, which Zooble abruptly pushed open, leading you both to a beautiful outdoor scene full of hillsides. It was peaceful, quiet. Everything Zooble needed aside from you. Closing the mysterious door, Zooble gripped your hand tight, dragging you to a tree atop a hill.

"I like to come here sometimes. It's...quiet. It keeps Caine away usually." They said, sitting down.

You sat beside them, still holding hands.

"It's beautiful..." You said, slowing admiring this hidden place.

"Not as beautiful as you..." Zooble mumbled, too quietly for you to hear.

"What was that?" You asked, snapped out of your trance.

"Oh, um, nothing." They replied, trying to hide the truth.

They really just wanted to confess their love to you right then and there as they watched your eyes sparkle in the sunlights glow, the rays reflecting off of your hair. They found themselves staring at you, for a little too long.

"I can tell you're staring at me Zoobs~" You teased, smiling at them.

"N-no I'm not!" They exclaimed frantically, blushing at your remark.

"Oh shut up Zoobs. I love you. As more than a friend." You said, pulling them close.

"I love you too. As way more than a friend." They replied, resting their head on your shoulder.

"This is like our own little adventure"
