Ark One, Part Twenty

(Back With Typhon)

Despite outnumbering the young Lunarian four to one, getting a power boost, and having good coordination, Andras had to admit the boy was holding his own relatively well, if not outright kicking their asses.

It was frankly infuriating and humiliating, but the demon couldn't help but respect the teen. Power was everything within demon society, and their opposition had that in spades. What made it more ridiculous was that they weren't even facing a fully matured Lunarian but an adolescent who hadn't reached his potential.

Andras could only imagine the sheer potential of the boy, and the demon could admit that if the boy was allowed to grow, he could potentially surpass the might of the King of the Underworld. It was a bold claim but true nonetheless, as Andras had never been wrong before. He had a talent for spotting anyone with potential and estimating how far that potential could go.

Thus, Andras knew that letting the Lunarian live was out of the question. He needed to die, and his death had to be today. The only problem with achieving that was that the boy was too stubborn to die and wouldn't allow them to gain an edge in their battle.

Sending one of the first officers crashing into the battlefield, Typhon then quickly turned around to block an attack from the second officer and pushed him back so that he cut through their armor, leaving behind a deep vertical slash that started from the should and ended below the abdomen causing significant amounts of blood to spill out.

The second officer let out a cry of agony before descending to the ground. Seeing their comrade get grievously injured sent Andras and the third officer into a rage, and both charged at the Lunarian with murderous fury in their eyes.

Andras swung his ax at Typhon's head. However, the Lunarian ducked, narrowly avoiding getting decapitated, and then soon after deflected an attack from the third officer before decking Andras in the face with a swift elbow strike, which sent the demon stumbling back.

Typhon then shot a stream of fire toward the third officer, who promptly dodged it. However, he was unable to evade the second stream. The demon let out a scream of agony as the divine black flames consumed his flesh, and within a matter of seconds, the third officer was no more.

"NOOOOOOO!!!" Andras screamed, his voice filled with anguish, rage, and horror. He looked at the Lunarian with pure hatred in his eyes. "YOU MOTHERFUCKER I'M GONNA KILL YOU!!!!"

Moving toward the Lunarian at surprising speeds, Andras managed to land a blow to Typhon's head, sending him crashing to the walls of Feoh, with the impact being significant enough to crack the crystalized wall.

The Lunarian descended to the ground but quickly recovered before he could crash. Typhon glared at Andras and went to go and return the favor, but his danger senses went off, and with a mind of its own, his hand shot forth and grabbed the first officer's sword by the blade before it could pierce his neck.

Glaring at the weaker demon, Typhon grabbed it by the throat and looked at Andras with a sadistic smirk as he gave the first officer the same treatment as the third officer and set him ablaze. Seeing another one of his men turned into nothingness by the Lunarian's divine flames further enraged Andras, and he went to go and rip the teen apart.

However, before he could do that, a massive crystalline pillar burst from the ground and slammed into his abdomen, sending him flying rapidly into the sky. Within a few moments, Typhon was beside the demon and grabbed him by the throat, stopping his ascension. The Lunarian increased his grip around Andras's windpipe while looking the demon straight in the eyes with the same sadistic look he had when killing the demonic being's officers while also giving him a smug smile that made its blood boil.
