One would say Ji-eun's life was perfect ⎯ Back then, she would have agreed.
She had a loving family and amazing friends. She was a black belt in taekwondo, a star fencer on the national team, and the best friend of the now-famous gold medalist Ko Yu-rim.
But nothing good ever lasts long.
When Back Ji-eun's father's company goes bankrupt, her life is turned upside down overnight. With her whole family torn apart, she had to move in with her best friend and her family so she could continue attending school without any problem.
As Back Ji-eun attempts to survive her new reality, she grapples with the loss of her family, her friends, and the comfortable life she once knew. Meanwhile, despite her attempts to push away the fencer who kept trying to befriend her, certain feelings bloomed and sparked to life.
