accepting responsibility for one's actions( G!P OLIVIA RODRIGO X FEMALE READER )
Y/N's POV:
(not proofread)My girlfriend and I accompanied our friend group tonight for a night out. We went to our favorite club, as usual. I was dancing with Iris and Tate while Liv talked to Madison back at the booth.
I left the dance floor for a moment to order a new drink, moving to the booth and sitting beside Liv. We all talked for a while, laughing a few times and drinking a lot. A man, around our age, approached the booth. "Excuse me?" He looked at me, making me confused. "Sorry, I saw you from across the room and couldn't help but admire how pretty you are. Wanna dance?"
"Yeah, no, buddy." Liv jumped in, wrapping her arm around my shoulders to show that we were together. But I don't think that went through to his stupid brain.
"What're you, like, best friends?" He chuckled and smoothed his hair back, awaiting my answer. I could hear Liv growl in my ear, probably ready to pounce on him and with the look that Madison warned me of, l knew I had to jump before her tiny ass tried to murder him.
"Uh, no, we're actually dating. Sorry, I won't dance with you." I politely declined, I didn't want to come off as rude, hoping to just dismiss the mistake he made.
"Oh. My bad." He squinted his eyes. "Her? You and her? Dating? Wow." His scoff under his breath made Liv's grip tighten on my waist. I winced a little, and shoved her shoulder to silently really her.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Olivia asked in a snappy tone at the man who shrugged. Her grip loosened on me after a third shove. I rolled my eyes and sat back, crossing my legs.
"Nothing, nothing. Just wouldn't expect a woman like her to be with a woman like... you." Madison and I looked at each other. All hell was about to break loose.
"Oh, I see." Liv chuckled sarcastically, standing up. I quickly followed after her, placing my hands on her chest and pushing her back a distance to keep her away from him. "Don't you ever fucking talk to my girlfriend like that again, she said no, get over it. Keep your stupid comments to yourself."
"Problem?" Laroi walked over with his hand in Tate's, making it known that he was would fight for us. The man raised his hands, only causing more problems with the words that spilt out from his mouth.
"Nah, just questioning why everyone is a fucking lesbo these days."
"That's it." Liv cracked her knuckles, making me reach for her but I was sadly too late, and the asshole received a punch to the face from my girlfriend. Actually, several since she managed to get on top of him. Laroi and I had to pull her off and drag her out the club before they called the cops on us. "Oh that fucking asshat should've kept his mouth shut."
"Why do you even do this? I don't need you to cause scenes whenever we go out and some idiot flirts with me." I huffed, crossing my arms as I leaned against the wall while the rest of our friends followed us out of the club.
Liv sighed. "Baby, I just don't like that they're all over you. And then they think that they can just make rude comments when you turn them down, oh oh oh, that pisses me off!"
