the next morning i wake up and go get some breakfast , and as im getting my food my older brother dj comes in
"i heard yall" dj mumbles as he grabs a can of coke out the fridge
"what?" i say
"i heard you and the boy last night, on the back stairs." he says as he takes a sit of his coke and sits on the counter
i look back at him as im opening the cereal box up
"i uh what do you mean"
"divine im not stupid"
"okay yea whatever but please dont tell von, mari or dad please." i say
"i don't know if i can say that von wont know because he was up with me smoking. i never mentioned i could hear yall, neither did he but it doesn't mean he didn't hear you." dj says
"i hope he wont because von and him are friends and ill feel stupid."
"i feel you" he says as he gets down and walks back to my dads room where hes staying
i grab my cereal and go sit on the couch by von sleeping and turn on Nosey.tv which is jerry springer in the morning so i eat my cereal as i watch tv, as i feel von move and i stare at him
"divine move" he mumbles
i sit on the floor infront of him and i continue to eat my cereal..2 minutes later i finish it and get up to go put my bowl in the sink, i turn around and bump into someone and i look up to see its von
"yes?" i say
"you not allowed to see that jahseh mf nomo" he says as he grabs my shoulders and puts me to the side
"what the fuck? why?" i say
"you know why divine. dj already explained it to you i head him."
"davon you cant tell me what to do" i say as i turn around to look at him
"i can tell you to do whatever the fuck i want you to do"
"just because your older than me doesn't mean shit can you stop acting like my dad" i say as i walk to me room, i close my door a change into sweatpants and a black hoodie that jahseh gave me. von swings the door open and leans on the doorway eating his waffle
"okay then you cant see him if nobody's watching you guys" von says
"you're not my parent" i say
"but what would dad think if i tell him" von says as hes on his phone
"dad wont know unless you and dj tell him so.."
von shows me his phone and its dad's contact and he calls it
"DAVON MILESSSS STOP"
my dad answers
"hey dad, how are you?" von says as he smiles at me and walks away. i follow him.
"oh okay thats nice to hear, i just wanted to call and see how everythings going, love you bye"
he says as he hangs up
"bro what the fuck" i say
"ha, now listen to me" he says
i loop turn around and walk down the stairs and go outside jahseh, stokeley and wifi are out the ere,
"hi jah"
"yo" he says very dry
"what are you guys doing?" i say
"nothing"
"oh okay" i say as i sit down on his side of the porch.
"welp" he says as he gets up and stretches
"i think its time to go guys" jahseh says as he walks off the porch to wifis car, wifi follows same with stokeley
"sorry🫤" stokeley whispers to me as he walks by
"um jahseh whats wrong with you? what did i jdo??"
he looks back at me a sighs, then gets in the car and they drive off
"bro what the fuckkkkkk" i say as i get up and go inside my house, i run up the stairs and jump on my bed and start crying, mari comes in and asks
"whats wrong"
"jahseh. jahseh is whats wrong"
"bro wtf he do"
"he's ignoring me for some reason"
i look back and mari isn't there so i go back to just laying there then i hear something behind me and von starts talking
"mari told me what happened, i told him you had another boyfriend this whole time." he sits on the bed
i sit up
"von why"
"i didnt want him talking to my little sister, hes told me what he does to girls. plus yall was fucking."
"broooo von, he isnt even my boyfriend so why does it matter"
"EXACTLY DIVINE" he says as he gets up and walks out
i get up and i walk back outside and jahseh isnt home yet, i got over to his door because i see his moms cars there. i knock and she opens the door
"hey divine, whats up!?"
when jahseh comes home can you ask him to talk to me? please?"
"yea of course, he should be back any second he was just running up to the store. whats wrong?"
"my brother told him i had a boyfriend, which i dont, so hes ignoring me"
"oh yea, i bet he is. ill talk to him tho, for you"

"of course" she says as she closes the door
i go and sit on the porch stairs as dj comes down and tells me his babymothers dropping his kids off, he had a baby at 13 and then one at 16. ones a girl shes 7 and ones a boy hes 4. i say
"ok, what time?"
"2:00, but shes always late so probably 3 or 4"
"okay"
ive never actually met his babymom i just know they rarely get along because she likes to sleep around but the time i did meet her she was nice so idk
i ask if he can take me to the store and get me groceries and he says
"yea, lemme go change"
after like 5 minutes him, mari and von walk out
"go get in the car, we're all coming"
"bruh" i say as i get up and walk to the car and get in shotgun, dj gets in driver, von and mari get in the back, von lights a preroll and passes it to dj and dj rolls his and vons windows down slightly,
"can i hit it" mari asks
"bruh sure, you want too also vine?" von says
"um sure" i say
dj passes it to me and i hit it and pass it to mari and then he passes it to von, and so on.
we pull up to the store and dj parks and ashes the smokes out, we all get out and go inside, i grab a cart
i grab my phone and go to the notes because theres a list of things i need and we walk around and get everything and then check out.
