Chapter 1: Five Sisters

“Fi- Five sisters?! But you guys are in the same grade… You guys are quintuplets?” Y/n asked, stuttering, still in shock from the news.

“Yes, we’re quintuplets, Y/n.” JIwon said as she nodded.

“I- Wow, I never thought having quintuplets is even possible…” Y/n exclaimed as the quintuplets huddled up, Jiwon leaving the awkward position she and Y/n were in.

“So, what are we gonna do with him?” Yujin asked her siblings as if Y/n didn't hear them.

“I think we should kick him out of here. Right, Jiwon?” Wonyoung said as Gaeul rolled her eyes.

“That’s too much, Wony. Also, it’s not like he had bad grades.” Gaeul exclaimed, dismissing Wonyoung’s idea.

“Yeah! He looks like a nice guy~” Rei added.

“I- We’re not here to be friends with him. He’s a tutor and he did have that perfect exam.” Jiwon said, expressing her thoughts on the situation.

Y/n had a dead stare at the huddled siblings, sighing in defeat, “I hope you guys know that I can hear-”

“Shut it, stalker!” Wonyoung shouted as she went out of the huddle to again shout at Y/n.

Wonyoung then huddled back with her sisters and said, “Could we really trust this guy?”

Yujin looked at her, “Well, we should at least give him a chance, Wony.” Yujin remarked as Wonyoung sighed in defeat, outvoted by her sisters.

“Congratulations, Y/n.” Gaeul said with her monotone voice as the girls exited the huddle and looked at him, except for Wonyoung who was looking at the side.

“You’re allowed to go inside our apartment, Y/n!” Rei said as she smiled, she walked to their apartment door and opened it as the other four sisters walked inside.

Y/n walked in and saw how big their apartment was. The apartment was two stories, in the first floor was a living room, kitchen, and bathroom while on the way to the second floor was stairs leading up to their respective bedrooms.

Four of the five sisters immediately went to their room, leaving Y/n and Rei alone in the living room. The boy sighed in defeat as he sat down on the sofa and had the study material put on top of the table. He looked at the ceiling, contemplating what even should he do now given that the first impression the quintuplets have on him was way bad at most and questionable at least.

The ceiling lights were blinding Y/n slowly. Thankfully for him, there’s one person still there that looked at him and directly blocked his view of the light.

“Is it fun staring at the ceiling, Y/n?” Rei asked as Y/n averted her gaze and went back to looking at the study material.

“I- How can they even forgive me? Where do I even start, Rei?” Y/n asked, as Rei sat beside him and patted his shoulder.

“Well, why did you even follow Jiwon? It seemed like because of that even Wony got angry at you. Even Gaeul was indifferent, I can tell from her voice.” Rei explained, making Y/n regret saying those things even more.

“I- I may have told Jiwon she’ll get fat if she eats more.” Y/n said as one of the sisters overheard their conversation.

“Oya? What did I just hear? Someone telling Jiwon she’ll get fat?” Yujin said as Y/n and Rei looked at her as she made her way to them in the living room.

“Oh, Y/n… You need to know better than to talk to a girl like that. Especially Jiwon, she doesn’t like it when people say that.” Yujin elaborated.
