Later on, his mother drove him to Ashleigh's birthday party. Everybody from his class was there, including David, Damyn and Derek.
"Hey, dork." Damyn said again, as if he could not think of anything else better to say.
"Yeah, hey dork." David and Derek mimicked as usual.
"Hope your magic show isn't lame." Damyn said as Steven walked past.
"Yeah, hope your magic show isn't lame." His followers echoed.
Are they robots? Steven wondered. He decided just to ignore them, but he was even more worried about his magic show now.
