Britney knew how her head was a mess. She knew how Alex had told her how he liked her and how they had almost kissed. She knew how Alex was trying to get her to go out with him but Britney knew the reputation that he had and she wasn't going to be just sex with him

Britney stood in the locker room as she got to work as she looked to see Elodie as she walked in and looked to her "what?" Elodie asked

"Nothing you seem off are you okay?" Elodie asked as Britney looked to her and smiled

"I'm fine. Where were you last night I didn't see you at the house. Your brother was asking over you" Britney said

"George worries. I love him but he does my head in. I mean you know the feeling" Elodie said

"I do I am the youngest of six children and derek is the only brother" Britney said

"I have three brothers so..but I get you. I was out clearing my head that's all. What's going on with you and Alex" Elodie asked

"What do you mean nothing is going on with me and Alex" Britney said as Elodie raised an eyebrow

"I see that there is something there. You know that you can tell me I know Barbie has been making her comments you'd think that she was jealous"

"I don't care what she thinks. Alex and I are just friends that's all it is. We are nothing more than friend and he just wants more and it's not going to happen" Britney said as Elodie looked to her and smirked as she took a sip of her coffee

"Whatever you say" Elodie said as Britney looked to her and rolled her eyes at her

Britney stood in the hallway with the other interns apart from Cristina as they attended pre rounds "I want everyone focused today. With Cristina out, we're short an intern and I have a feeling it's gonna be one of those days. And Karev, see the chief by the end of the day" bailey said

"What for?" Alex said

"Do I look psychic to you? He is the chief. He asked. You go" bailey said

"What did he do now?" Meredith asked

"Maybe he gave the chief syphilis" george said as they asked Patient's room who is over crowded with interns, doctors and nurses listening to the patient as she tell a story

"I'm sorry, did I miss the bell for social hour" bailey asked as Everybody starts to leave except Bailey's group

"No, my parents. We traveled a lot. They still do"

"Oh wow. This stuff looks great" izzie said as She looked at some artifacts. She then sees Dr. Bailey looking annoyed.
