Chapter 2 : The Dare

Y/N POV 

"Okay, so your dare is that you have to get his number!" Mitsuri giggled, pointing at Giyuu.

"Ugh... Seriously?" I said, getting up from my seat and straightening up my dress with my hands. "Fine I'll do it." 

"And remember, you can't tell him it's a dare!" Mitsuri said as I got up and started walking towards Giyuu.

Once I was standing about a meter away from him, I spoke. He was busy on his phone and looked up a bit surprised, not expecting me to be talking to him. 

"Hey..." I said politely, with a soft smile.

"Oh uhm... Hi.." He replied awkwardly after a few seconds.

"I'm Y/N, Y/N Y/L/N." I introduced myself.

"I'm Giyuu Tomioka." He replied back.

So according to what Mitsuri said, I have to flirt with him, and get his number but can't tell him what I'm doing.

"I saw you standing there... I just wanted to say I find you attractive and I thought maybe you'd be willing to give me your number?" Gosh, I can't flirt at all! "Well not if you're already taken of course!" I added, just in case, even though I'm sure Mitsuri wouldn't send me to flirt with a guy who already has a girlfriend.

"Sure... I guess." He said in a soft mumble. Didn't speak much, did he?

We exchanged numbers and after a few seconds I was back to my friends, and they all looked excited and started asking me how'd it go. I glanced at Giyuu who was standing in a corner, now looking a bit... Flustered? Maybe it's something else, can't be because of me.

And before I realised, I found myself staring at him while the girls kept playing. Mitsuri nudged me, snapping me out of my thoughts and leaned in to see what I was looking at. 

Soon, it was already 11, and I had to wake up early tomorrow. "Guys, I have to go now. I have something to do tomorrow morning and it's getting late." 

"Should i come with you, y/n?" Shinobu offered, but I declined, saying they should enjoy their night. "No, it's okay, you don't have to. You should enjoy the party." And I started to leave.

Just as I was walking out, I bumped into someone while I was looking down at my purse, looking for my phone. Oh great, it's Tomioka. But this time, he spoke first, "Are you leaving?"

"Oh yeah, I am." I replied, now lightly clutching my phone in my hand.

"Well..." He spoke a bit nervously, and I noticed he glanced at Sanemi and his friends. "I could give you a ride... If you want."

"Sure." I didn't mind, plus it would be nice to have some company on the way home.

"Alright, my car's parked here. Just follow me." He started walking and I followed behind, he opened the car door for me, and I smiled and got in. What a gentleman.

"So, how old are you?" I decided to ask as he started driving.

"25, what about you?"

"Oh cool, I'm 23." 

"So, what do you do for a living?" I asked curiously, and surprisingly he replied, I didn't exactly expect an answer to that question because it's quite personal. My brain told me to ask that.

"My father's a business man, so I work for him. He owns a huge resort. And you?"

"I work as a receptionist at an hotel, coincidence." I smiled at him and winked, for a moment I saw a blush on his face.

I'm ending it here, I'm tired asf. This chapter is so short and I'm sooooo late to post it. I literally kept forgetting abt it or didn't have time, it's been 17 days since I last posted 😭😭

I used this chapter to let y'all know that I'm not going to abandon this, nothing interesting rlly happened, but the next chapter probably will be. (35% chance)

Also bear with me if it has mistakes because I didn't read it before posting and I'm writing it on a hungry stomach so I just want to get this done as quickly as possible.

And yes, this has some King The Land reference.
