staring at the stars

a collection of things i wish on dandelions
ways i wish i'd played my cards

a collection of emails i can't send
because no matter how hard i try
i just can't get them out

of

my

head.

𝐒𝐈𝐃𝐄 𝐀 : hopelessly lost

𝐌𝐈𝐑𝐑𝐎𝐑𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐋
' i'm still a believe, but i don't know why
i've never been a natural, all i do is try, try, try '

𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐘 𝐈𝐒𝐍' 𝐓 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐘
' when pretty isn't pretty enough, what do you do?
and everybody's keeping it up, so you think it's you '

' as she walks by, what a sight for sore eyes
brighter than the blue sky
she's got you mesmerized while i die '

𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐘
' and i despise my jealous eyes
and how hard they fell for you
yeah, i despise my rotten mind
and how much it worships you. '

okay i'm really bad at these but hi!! this is a very random book drop but i have so many pieces of poetry in my notes app and i need to let them go somehow. my fingers are genuinely about to fall off from the cold  so i'll keep this short (and sweet!). i'm so deeply grateful you decided to click on this anthology, and i love you all so so much. i hope you enjoy!
