Hey guyss, how are you feeling?
I kind of dont like this fanfic.. Should i start a new one? Or maybe you could give me some ideas for this fanfic?
_____Hector sat down beside me on the steps, the air between us thick with everything that had gone unsaid. The night felt heavier than it had a few minutes ago, the cool breeze doing nothing to shake the weight off my chest. I stared at the dark street ahead, my mind still reeling from everything.
"How do you feel?" Hector asked, breaking the silence. His voice was soft, careful, like he knew exactly how fragile I felt in that moment.
I let out a hollow laugh, still not able to fully process the news. "Like shit. And you?"
He sighed, running a hand through his hair before looking at me. "Well, now I feel sad. Because of everything that happened, you know?" He paused, as if weighing his words. "I'm really sorry that we didn't tell you sooner. Val wanted to do it herself, so I didn't push it."
I shook my head, cutting him off before he could say anything more. "It's okay, Hector. You don't have to explain. Let's just—let's change the topic, okay?" I needed a distraction. I needed anything that wasn't about Valentina leaving. I glanced at him, raising an eyebrow. "So... how are you holding up after the breakup?"
He gave me a smile, a real one this time, and it took me by surprise. "Honestly? I couldn't feel better."
I blinked, not expecting that answer. "Wait, really?"
"Yeah." He laughed, leaning back on his hands, his body relaxing a little. "You were right all along. She. Is. Crazy."
I smirked, shaking my head in disbelief. "See? And you guys didn't believe me. I told you she was bad news."
He chuckled, nodding in agreement. "Yeah, well, we're believers now. Anyway, we missed you. It hasn't been the same without you two around. Oh, and you'll never guess—we met Lamine's new girlfriend. She's nice, actually. I think you'd get along with her."
"Really?" I said, raising an eyebrow. "I can't wait to meet her. Is she at the party?"
"Nah, she couldn't make it tonight, but she really wanted to be here."
I nodded, feeling a little lighter now that the conversation had shifted. "I get it," I said, letting my gaze drift back to the road. But then I noticed Hector was looking at me differently—his eyes soft, a little more intense. I hesitated for a second before meeting his gaze, and the second our eyes locked, I could feel it.
The tension was... different.
I swallowed hard, my heart skipping a beat. "You good?" I asked, my voice barely a whisper, as if speaking too loudly would break whatever this was between us.
Before I could process what was happening, Hector leaned in, closing the space between us in an instant. His lips were on mine, soft but certain, like he had been waiting for this moment just as long as I had without even realizing it.
For a split second, I froze, shocked by how natural it felt—how right. But then, without thinking, I kissed him back, my hand reaching out to steady myself against his chest. The world around us seemed to disappear, the party, Valentina, all of it fading into the background as the kiss deepened.
And for the first time tonight, everything else melted away.
I pulled back, breathless, my heart racing in my chest. For a second, we just stared at each other, the moment hanging heavy in the air between us. Hector's eyes searched mine, as if trying to figure out what I was thinking, but I didn't even know myself.
"I... I didn't mean to—" he started, his voice shaky.
"No, it's okay," I interrupted quickly, still trying to process what had just happened. My fingers were still resting on his chest, and I let them fall away as I took a deep breath, trying to calm the whirlwind of emotions swirling inside me. "I just... wasn't expecting that."
"Yeah," he said softly, rubbing the back of his neck, a nervous smile playing on his lips. "Neither was I."
We both fell silent, the weight of the kiss still lingering between us. It wasn't awkward exactly, but it was... complicated. Everything had already been overwhelming tonight, and now this? My head was spinning.
"I don't know what this means," I admitted, looking down at the step beneath me.
"Me neither," Hector said, his voice low. "But... maybe we don't have to figure it out right now."
I nodded slowly, my heart still racing. He was right. There was too much happening, too much change already. This wasn't the time to try and sort through the new feelings that were now bubbling up between us. But it didn't change the fact that something had shifted. Something real.
"Yeah," I agreed, giving him a small smile. "Maybe we don't."
We sat there for a few more moments, side by side, the kiss still lingering in the air, but neither of us said another word about it. Not tonight, anyway.

After a while, we came back to the party and decided to have fun because of the last night with Val. Im going to miss her but maybe it's a start of something new?
