05. time for a scandal ———⚘️🎐°. *

AFTER THEIR CLASSES had ended for the day, Misora made her way to the gymnasium. During lunch, her and Riley had decided to pass by the volleyball training later, hoping to catch Iwaizumi spilling the tea to his teammates.

"Hey boys," Riley greeted as they entered the gym, dodging a ball.

"Oi, be careful, Miya!" Kageyama shouted as he jogged over to the girls. He slung an arm around Riley's shoulder, careful not to hug her too tightly because he was dripping sweat.

"Everything okay? You need something?" he asked Riley before giving her a quick peck.

The blue-haired girl shook her head, tilting her head to look at the tall boy.

"No, just wanted to watch you while we work on some assignments," she explained and Misora nodded, high-fiving the blue-haired setter.

Kageyama shrugged, he was used to Riley spending her free time in the gym, it was just Misora's presence that made him suspicious. She never observed training.

"Okay, have fun I guess," he chuckled and squeezed Riley's hand one last time before running back to his teammates who were teasing him with kissy faces.

They did their round of greeting the girls and went back to drilling their attacks and some coordination training.

"Yo, where's Atlas?" Kuroo spoke up and trudged towards the benches, ignoring the complaints from Oikawa who had started preparing to set for the black-haired boy.

Misora and Riley exchanged a smug look.

"She'll come by after work."

"Her shift ended forty minutes ago," Kuroo said, glancing at the big clock hanging on the wall.

Riley only shrugged. Misora didn't say anything. Kuroo's frown deepened and he put his hands on his hips.

"I haven't seen her at all today," he huffed out but returned to the court nonetheless.

"He's whipped and doesn't even know it," Riley whispered, typing away on her laptop. She looked up to blow her boyfriend a kiss before lowering her head again.

"What I'm saying, but you know Atlas will kill us if we bring that topic up. She almost skinned me last time I teased her about it," Misora mumbled and as if on cue the gym's doors opened once again.

"You said code red and I came rushing," Atlas panted and closed the double doors behind her. She didn't even spare the boys a glance as she strode across the gym to where Misora and Riley were sitting.

"Traffic sucks and I'm a slow biker." She shook her head disapprovingly and dropped onto the floor, her back to the court.

Riley slowly closed her laptop and Atlas' gaze darted between her friends.

"So," she called out, throwing her hands up, "What happened? You look like you've seen a ghost."

"Mila is in love with you-know-who," Misora whispered, her eyes scanning the room to follow the boy she was talking about. Iwaizumi turned around and their eyes met.

He slowed his movements and his lips curled into a soft smile. A slap on the back from Atsumu brought him back to reality and the dark-haired boy shook his head, turning away.

Misora sighed and crossed her arms.
She looked at the youngest girl and sighed again.

"You're not joking?" Atlas asked carefully, scratching her head.
