Colours were everywhere, unlimited food and happiness "Renjun do you want a cookie, pizza, burgers tell us" a Unicorn asked
Renjun ?
I heard a female voice but it was nowhere to be seen so I looked back at the unicorn "YES! I want-"
Huang Renjun!
Again a loud voice interrupted my speaking "Where is it coming from? "I want fadt food i really love-"
HUANG RENJUN OPPA!!!!!Renjun rubbed his eyes, still disoriented from the vivid dream. "I wasn't sleeping, just... resting my eyes," he mumbled, chasing away the remnants of the colorful world.
Jihyun rolled their eyes but couldn't suppress a grin. "Sure, just make sure you’re alert. We’ve got a new mission briefing with the boss."
As they headed toward the office, Renjun couldn’t shake off the dream’s strange allure. A unicorn? Unlimited food? It felt like a sign of something.
When they entered the boss’s office, the air buzzed with anticipation. “Alright, team,” their boss began, “we have an important assignment.”
“Whenever we have a MISSON, it's just to imprison criminals so what is it this time.” Renjun spoke sitting down on the chair
"Y'all are going undercover as Thai people to Korea" Jihyun stopped ranting and Renjun jumped off his chair
“Undercover as Thai people?” Renjun echoed, his eyes wide with disbelief. “What even is that supposed to mean?”
The boss leaned forward, a smirk playing on their lips. “We need you to blend in at a cultural festival. It’s crucial for gathering intel on a group suspected of illegal activities.”
Jihyun raised an eyebrow. “So, we’re dressing up and pretending to be tourists?”
“Exactly,” the boss replied. “Renjun, you’ve got the charm. Jihyun, you can handle the details. You both will be our eyes and ears.”
Renjun crossed his arms, still processing the idea. “What if we mess up? I don’t know anything about Thai culture!”
“Then it’s time to learn,” Jihyun said, nudging him playfully. “I hear the food is amazing. Maybe we’ll even get a taste of that dream of yours.”
“Yeah, but what if we encounter a unicorn?” Renjun shot back, half-joking.
“Focus, Renjun,” the boss said, shaking their head. “First, we’ll go over some basics. You’ll be fine. Just remember: blend in, have fun, and keep your eyes open.”
Renjun sighed but felt a flicker of excitement. Maybe this mission wouldn’t be so bad after all.
Renjun tried to shake off the remnants of his vivid dream as he listened to the briefing. The idea of blending in at a Thai cultural festival was daunting but intriguing. “Okay, but what do we need to know?” he asked, leaning forward in his seat.
The boss pulled up a presentation on the screen, showcasing vibrant images of Thai food, traditional dances, and cultural attire. “First, you need to understand the basics—Thai greetings, some common phrases, and of course, the food. You two will be our representatives.”
“Great, I can already picture myself awkwardly trying to say ‘Sawasdee krap,’” Renjun said with a chuckle.
Jihyun rolled their eyes. “Just practice. It’ll be fine. And we’ll definitely get to sample some of that amazing food. I’m in.”
As the briefing continued, Renjun felt a mix of anxiety and excitement. The thought of tasting street food and seeing colorful festivals sparked a bit of the enthusiasm from his dream. “What about costumes?” he asked, thinking of how out of place he might feel.
“Don’t worry,” the boss said, “we’ll arrange traditional attire for both of you. Just focus on being yourself while keeping a low profile.”
After the meeting, Jihyun nudged Renjun. “Let’s hit the books and figure out everything we can about Thai culture. If we’re going undercover, we might as well have fun with it.”
Renjun nodded, a sense of determination growing. “And if we run into any unicorns along the way, I’ll be sure to ask for some tips.”
As they left the office, the colorful echoes of his dream lingered in his mind. Maybe this mission would be more than just a job; it could be an adventure filled with new experiences and, hopefully, some delicious food. 'Dang it now he was hungry'
