So...
I have a lot to say..let's go back to 22 hours ago...
October 8th, 2024 (flashback)
You might be wondering how I ended up in a car, driving away from home as fast as possible.
Lemme explain.
Hurricane Milton was coming to town and all schools were closed. Governor Ron De Santis even declared the state in a state of emergency! All schools being closed sounds like a dream come true, right?
Wrong.
Milton was a very POWERFUL hurricane that was expected to bring power down and food was going to be a little problem..
Me and my family all thought:
'That's no way to go!'
So we packed up, grabbed a few snacks, and got the hell out of town.
I wonder if any if my friends had the same idea? I was just praying they were okay. Speaking of friends, I have a LOT!
(I'm not going to write the list of friends because it's too long.)
Anyway, we eventually started looking for a place to stop and rest for the night, but I guess a lot of people had the same idea, because EVERY FLIPPIN HOTEL IN FLORIDA WAS FULL!!!!
By the time, we had gone to the 4th hotel and been rejected, it was clear finding a hotel was going to be no easy task.
But FINALLY,
AFTER DRIVING FOR HOURS....
and after a quick nap...
We found a hotel that was going to be able to take us in for the night!!
Exciting, right?
Yes!... In that moment.
We had were completely unaware that we would be kicked out by the next morning...
