Chapter Nine Keneoue Mabasa Jayden's cousins' apartment Later|7:33PM
She walks into the living room,wearing sweatpants and a sweater that Jayden gave her.
She was tired and stressed about the video and photos since Vusimusi has not yet said anything about them.
"You are awake?"Boitumelo says, hugging her tightly and she smiles."Are you hungry?"
"I am."Keneoue replies, seeing that it is just her and it smells amazing."Where are the others?"
"Studio session."Boitumelo responses as Keneoue sits on the barstool. She puts her hands together as she thinks about the next steps to take since she needs to take some action.
She looks at her bowl of vegetable soup that is placed in front of her,baked bread was place above the soup in a tray-the bowl of vegetable soup was between Keneoue and the tray.
"Can we say grace?"Keneoue asks and Boitumelo nods her head. Keneoue takes Boitumelo's hand, closes her eyes and she says a small prayer.
"...Amen."They both say,she looks at Boitumelo who rubs her hands and gives her a small smile.
She returns the smile as she sighs heavily and takes a spoon as she eats the vegetable soup."This is delicious."Keneoue compliments, causing Keneoue to smile.
"Thank you."She takes the bread and dips it into the bread as she eats.
The door opens and in comes Ayanda, Vusimusi and Jayden. Vusimusi immediately goes to Keneoue and hugs her."Hey."Keneoue says, widening her eyebrows, causing her forehead lines to be present by the hug that came from Vusimuzi.
"Hey,I did it."Vusimuzi says,and she furrows her brows. Jayden comes to her,lifting her chin up and pecks her lips as he feels better than when he left this morning.
"Okay-"She replies, looking at Jayden with a smile as Ayanda hugs her after hugging Boitumelo."You were saying Vusimuzi."
"I was able to get the photos and video back. Did you know there is also a video he took without your consent?"Vusimuzi explains as he opens his laptop and puts it in front of her.
"No,I did not know. That hoe man is too much, honestly."Keneoue says and looks at Vusimuzi as he explains how he was able to get the photos and video back."Did you get the video from his phone?"
"Yes and also I took screenshots because I hacked into his phone and made sure to erase some of the photos and videos of some vulnerable girls he was talking to."Vusi explains and Keneoue smiles.
"Babe."She calls Jayden, causing Jayden to smile.
"Mmm."
"Is your parent's lawyer in town?"She asks and he widens his eyes."I want to make sure to get justice rather than his money that he does not have."
"Let me check with my mom and dad."Jayden says,pulling his phone out of his pocket and unlocks it as he walks to the next room.
Keneoue looks at the laptop and sees that she sees a familiar name.
"Dinaledi!"She shouts, causing Vusi to stop and zoom into the profile photo of Dinaledi.
Keneoue covers her mouth,tears following down her face when she finally remembers the story Dinaledi told her when they were both drunk and laid on Dee's bed.

"I loved this guy so much."Dinaledi starts the story."Innocent and naive."
"Dee,you don't have to."She says, turning around and faces Dinaledi's body.
"I want to through... He made me feel so special,lunch every school day and afternoon bus rides from school to my home in Diepkloof. I was 16 and so fucking naive."Dee continues and she frowns, realising they are both from Soweto and Dinaledi never mentioned it.
"He,one day made a conversation about us going somewhere and I agreed. Afternoon with my man at MacDonald does not sound so bad, right? How I was so wrong?"
"He was fine when we were at MacDonald and then I invite him for a glass of juice which lend to horrible things happening to me. Not to get too graphic-he forced himself in me and while he had choked me. He wanted to kill me that day."

"Can we take a break from all of this?"Keneoue asks as she sliently sniffs and Vusi nods his head.
He closes his laptop and rubs Keneoue's back while Boitumelo comes back with a box of tissue."You want to talk about it."Boitumelo asks and Keneoue shakes her head.
"One day,you will know."Keneoue replies as she blows her nose and clears it.
She gets off the barstool,takes the bowl of soup and reheats it. She stands at the countertop with arms folded and she thinks about the whole situation and how a debrief with the lawyer might go.
"Vusi?"She calls him and he walks to her then copies the way she is standing."Not to seem to affect your privacy but can you please send the information to me."
"Yeah sure... How strong do you think the case is?"
"Personally,it is very strong so I will hear what the lawyer says because I think if we build this case further,it will destroy him."Keneoue says, walking to the microwave and taking the soup out.
"Is it giving Double Cross vibes?"Vusi asks and she laughs.
"I have to be Erica and you are Eric."She replies before eating her soup." This is just so crazy through."She mumbled before seeing Jayden holding a blanket and in his PJ set.
"People are definitely creeps-I haven't read through all the chats but I can see him definitely as a womanizer."He says, causing Keneoue to laugh.
"You making my girlfriend laugh while I am standing here."Jayden says and Vusi chuckles.
"Cuz,what did aunty and uncle say?"Vusi says,ignoring Jayden's statement and Jayden smacks his lips.
"They said he is coming back in town next week so we will go to his firm and talk about the case."Jayden says and Keneoue smiles.
Jayden takes Keneoue's spoon and eats her soup."You two are not even in a serious relationship."Vusi replies to Jayden's previous statement that he ignored.
Boitumelo and Ayanda laughs while Keneoue rolls her eyes."Really?"Jayden asks and Vusi nods his head."We will see about that."
