-the next day-

I was walking to the coffee shop, wearing black jeans and a black button up.
i walk in and see chloe on her phone. i felt my phone ring. i take it out

detective
D~where are you?
R~behind you

i text back before putting my phone away.
"hello, may i just have a ice coffee?" i ask.
he nods.
i feel someones arms wrap around me.
it felt like my stomach did hundred backflips and I felt full.
he gives me my coffee.
"thank you" I say as I pay.
I turn around to face her.
"hi" she smiles.
"hi" I say back giving her a kiss.

I get a call from crimson.
"hold on this is important" I say picking up.
"all good, need you here now" he says.
"okay I'm on my way, don't do anything" I warn
"got it"
he hangs up before sending me the address.
"I have to go, I'll call you later" I say.
"mkay bye bye" she says. I leave and a black car comes and picks me up. Ezra gets out.
"boss" he gives a small bow before opening the door for me. I get in.

chloe~
I see red gets in a car, a guy bows to her. what was she?
I brush it off before sitting back down in my booth.

red~
he drives me to the warehouse. we get there and I put on gloves.
we walk in.
I see Coraline Adams tied up.
I pull a chair out and sit before crossing my legs.
"so heard you threatened my father"
her eyes filled with fear.
"I d-didnt I pr-promis~"
"hook" I cut her off.
"you sure you didn't threaten him?"
"h-hook is your father?"
"I'm asking the questions here, so did you threaten hook?"
"y-yes" she stutters.
" you Mrs.adams, who is married, had an affair with my father and when he gave up and left, you threaten him, is that right?"
she nods slowly.
"mhm" she hums.
"please don't hurt me, I have children" she whimpers.
"oh these children?" I point to Ezra who has a photo of 2 teenage boys who knows about the affair and basically contacted us. yea dark, anyways.
"please don't hur-"
"ah-uh, you talk to much" I say as I get up. I walk to her before crouching down to be at her height.
I rub my thumb against her lip.
"look at this pretty mouth, too bad it wont open anymore" I get back up before tieing a rag around her mouth.
she starts shaking and freaking out.
"don't move unless you want it to be painful"
Ezra shoots her head.
"clean this up" I say taking my gloves off.
Ezra drives me back to my house.
"Actual drive me here" I tell him.
"Got it" he turns around and drives to Chloe's house.
He drops me off.
I go inside her house.
I see Chloe sleeping with the TV on.
I knock on the wall. her eyes flutter open.
"When did you get here?" She mumbles still with her sleeping voice.
"Just now" I say as i sit down.
"Mm okay" she mumbles before falling back asleep.

After a bit she starts shaking before springing up, breathing heavily.
"Nightmare?" I ask.
"Mhm"
She lays back down, trying to go back to sleep.

"Can you cuddle with me? I can't go back to sleep" she asks.
" Not much of a hugg-"
"Please?" She whines.
I couldnt say no. I got up before laying next to her.
She lays her head on my chest before instanly falling back asleep.
I feel my cheeks heat up. I smile as I rub her back.
What red no! Snap out of it!!!
But i couldn't, her hair smelling good like strawberry, just like her lips.
I smile at the thought of kissing her.
I play with her curls before I fall asleep with her.

How did we get so close in under a day?

Chloe-
I wake up a few hours later to red hugging my waist from behind. I feel my cheeks flush.
I could smell her cologne making me relax. I feel her kiss my cheek before getting up.
"Mmm where you going?"
"To get a snack" she mumbles.
"You could just eat me" I grin.
"Mmm tempting but I want a snack not a meal"
I could feel her grin.
Out of nowhere she straddles me.
"Nevermind I want a meal" she kisses my neck.
"Mmmm" I moan.
