Panel 1: A teenage boy (17) with a small Afro. He is wearing a red and black striped shirt. He is facing the audience/us with a smile on his face.
Jason: Hi, guys! How are you doing? My name is Jason Jordan, but my friends called me JJ.
Panel 2: Same panel, Jason closes his eyes and has his left hand behind his head.
Jason: October has always been my favorite month of the year. I have a story that happened to me when I was a ninth grader.
Panel 3: Same panel as panel 1.
Jason: All that I want from you guys is to understand why I did what I did.

Panel 1: A huge light brown rectangular-shaped high school with a flagpole in front of it. The name of the school is large and on the front -- Lafayette High School. The sky is partly cloudy. There is the woods in the background. The trees have orange and yellow leaves. There are some cars parked in the parking lot.
Cap: Remember the Halloween specials you see in cartoons?
Panel 2: Inside the classroom, there are students sitting at their desks, some of them are wearing their costumes. There is a student with a small Afro sitting at his desk in the middle, at the front of the class. This student is not wearing a costume, just regular clothes. The classroom has a world map on the back wall.
Cap: Y'know, where teens go out camping and encounter the supernatural? Or a cheesy teen zombie event?
Panel 3: Zoom in on the student with a small Afro, he's bored. He has his head leaning on his hand. This is Jason Jordan, 14 years old.
Cap: Sadly, it wasn't that.
Cap: I was fighting like hell to keep awake in this class.
Panel 4: Mrs. Wickenthorpe faces the students/us. She has her brunette hair in a bun, she wears red thick-rimmed glasses, and a red dress shirt and black pants. She stands in front of the blackboard, behind her brown desk, with some scribbles for words.
Cap: It wasn't Mrs. Wickenthorpe's fault, it was her voice that's killing me. It was as if a robot puts on her skin and teaches the class instead of her.

Panel 1: Jason looks at his classmates. They rest their heads on their desks, and a few are on their phones, texting or playing a game.
Cap: And it's not only me that finds this class miserable. I don't think I can handle it anymore.
Panel 2: The red school bell is on the wall, ringing.
Sfx: RING RING RING RING!
Panel 3: Jason is relieved as he looks up.
Cap: The last school bell saved me and my classmates from hell -- finally, my prayer was answered.

Panel 1: The students in the hallway, most of them are walking while talking to their friends. Some of them are at their opened lockers, taking their stuff out. Jason's at his opened locker. There are some Halloween decorations.
Cap: On this day, Halloween fell upon my town like a sack of potatoes. Halloween was like St. Patrick's Day in Boston.
Panel 2: Profile of Jason as he takes out his backpack from his locker. There are students in the background walking and some at their lockers.
Cap: And on this day, I had finally gathered the courage to do what I couldn't do before.
Panel 3: Jason looks over his left shoulder with determination in his eyes.
