"first rehearsal!!" tilly exclaimed, running up behind vijay and jumping on his back. vi laughed in surprise and caught her easily, walking down the aisles of seats in the auditorium to stand on the carpet below the stage.
"hey guys!" sav smiled at them and held out a clipboard as vi put tilly down. "put down your initials here, we're doing sign-in sheets this year instead of calling attendance, it's way easier."
tilly took the clipboard and signed in as amber and avery walked in, followed by roman, chris, and cas. they passed the attendance sheet around and everyone started catching up with each other while they waited for the others to arrive.
ollie, gavin and jadah came in a few minutes later, and ollie moved to talk to amber while gav and jadah, along with roman, headed off together to get the scripts. the tech and costume crews wouldn't be at another rehearsal for a while, but everyone was called today for the read through.
ozzy, jj, and soph arrived, and finally dessa walked in, wordlessly handing sav a coffee.
"bless your soul," sav said, taking a sip and passing the clipboard to soph as dessa took the last script. she kicked the box out of the way and grinned. "alright, guys, who's ready to get started?"
a couple nods and words of agreement answered her as everyone settled down, sitting on the floor next to their friends and opening their scripts to the first page.
