Quick Warnings: Violence, Blood, Makeout scenes, and Swearing

Author's Note: Hi! I'm new to writing fan fics, but I have been watching the 911 show since it came out! I hope you guys enjoy this fic.

Buck's Pov:
I yawned as I walked into the locker room of the 118. My body ached so badly. It was like I got run over by a truck. The night before, I got into a fight with one of the people I was street bike racing against. He got me good but luckily I still won. "You look like shit." Eddie chuckled while sliding on his shirt. "Just slept the wrong way." I lied, lifting my arms up to stretch. If Eddie or anyone found out I was a street racer, it could've ended badly. I swiftly took off my shirt in one move before shoving it into my locker and grabbing my other one. I pulled the shirt over my head and fixed my hair once I got it on. "You coming?" Eddie asked, leaning against the lockers. He looked so good. No. Can't do that. "Yea, let's go." I said, out of breath. Eddie and I walked upstairs to Hen and Chimney, who were playing cards, and Bobby was making breakfast. "I fold." Chimney said as he laid down his cards. Hen smirked michevously as she set down her cards as well. Chimney's jaw dropped as he saw her cards. (I know nothing about card games, so bare with me.) "How do you always win?!" Chimney complained. "You're horrible at bluffing." Hen said, crossing her arms. Me and Eddie glanced at each other with soft smiles before we went to go sit with the two. "Wanna join?" Hen asked while shuffling the cards. "We'd rather watch the show." Eddie chuckled, and I agreed. "You guys can play cards later. For now, eat." Bobby said as he set a pan full of scrambled eggs, another one with sausages and some orange juice. It smelled amazing! "Thanks, cap!" I said while rubbing my hands together. I was straving. I filled my plate with scrambled eggs and sausage. "Slow down, you're gonna choke." Eddie chuckled. "I have to finish it fast in case we get a call." I said through a mouthful of sasuage. "Really? It's kinda quiet-" Chimney said. "No!" We all called out as Chimney's eyes widened. "Oh no. What if I say it again to reverse it?" Chimney tried compromising. "And make it worse?!" Hen said. The station's alarm went off. I groaned, getting up while sadly looking at my eggs. Until next time. We all quickly put our gear on before getting into the engine. Hen lectured Chimney the whole way to the scene, but I wasn't paying attention. I was too occupied with something else or someone else. Eddie. The tiniest bit of eye contact with him released thousands of butterflies into my stomach. It could never happen, though. I didn't want to risk our friendship. "Buck and Eddie, I need you to help relax the victim while Hen and Chimney try to get him out." I wasn't very good at relaxing these days. It's one of the reasons I got into street racing. "Buck?" Eddie called out, already walking ahead of me. I snapped out of my trance. "Coming!"

The rest of the day was complete chaos. One girl was attacked by a crow! Some teenagers got stuck in cement while trying to film a tiktok, dont ask. The day was a roller coaster. That's why I decided to head to a street race to clear my mind. I secured my black helmet onto my head as the flag girl did her announcements. I revved my bike as I got ready to race off. "ARE YOU READY RACERS?!" The girl yelled out as she lifted the flags up. My opponent and I nodded. "3,2,1 GO!!" The girl yelled before putting the flags down. I descended swiftly past my opponent. Nothing else mattered when I was racing. The adrenaline filled my veins completely. I revved my bike as I sped up, my opponent nowhere to be seen. "EVAN RACES ACROSS THE TRACK WITH EASE WHILE MARCUS IS HOT ON HIS TAIL." The annoucer yelled on his megaphone. I looked behind me and noticed the biker gaining on me. I had to do something. I looked over at the turn that was coming up . Suddenly, I had an idea. There was a ramp that led almost right next to the finish line, but it was risky. The little common sense I had flew out the window. I lined myself up in front of the ramp. "IS EVAN BUCKLEY GONNA TRY THE DEATH RAMP?!" Great. That's not an intimidating name at all. I inhaled the cold night air. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up as I drove towards the ramp, not slowing down. I shot up into the air like a bullet. Butterflies filled my stomach like crazy it was 10 times the amount Eddie gave me. I descended down towards the ground of the track, I knew it was gonna hurt like a bitch if I fell off my bike. I gripped the handles of my bike tightly, my palms clammy and sweat dripping down my forehead. I braced for impact as I landed on the ground. I held onto my bike like it was my lifeline as I landed on the ground. "AND HE MADE IT!!" I took a quick second to process the dumbass thing I just did before racing towards the finish line. I sped past the finish line with ease while Marcus was out of sight. I slid off my helmet and chuckled as cheers filled my ears. Winning races was what kept me sane. It was what kept my cup from overfilling. Doing anything reckless had that effect on me, I didn't know why.. The flag girl walked up to me, swaying her hips. "That was impressive." She said while grinning. "Thanks." I said, uninterested. I moved my bike to the side. "You should come back to my place." She flirted, placing her hand on my shoulder. "Not interested." I said bluntly. "Why not? You gay or something?" She probed while flipping her hair back. That, for some reason, really, really pissed me off. I felt like I had to prove I was straight, I think..? I don't know how I feel about boys or Eddie anymore. Some days, I want him to slam me against the wall and kiss me until I'm breathless. Other times, I just wanna hear his laughter. "Hello?" The girl said, waving her hand in front of my eyes. I shook my head. "Sorry." I said, I pulled her in by her waist. Why not have some fun? She grinned. "Come on, handsome."

I rubbed my eyes as I woke up to flag girl next to me, also known as Ruby. I slowly slid out the bed, careful not to wake her up. I slipped my legs through my jeans and pulled the zipper up. I threw my shirt on from last night. It smelled like motor oil and dirt, which didn't surprise me much. I grabbed my keys from Ruby's night table before quietly walking out her room and slipping my shoes on. How would I be gay if I could sleep with a girl and enjoy it?
