"LEFT THEN A RIGHT AND BE CAREFUL FOR THE WALL. GO STRAIGHT UP," mori instructed us as he swerved between the buildings with us right behind his tail. "ALRIGHT BOTH OF YOU LISTEN UP," mori spoke with his voice now a far cry from its usual cheery tone. "STICK CLOSE TO ME. AND DO WHATEVER I DO." he began to speed up faster and get closer to a wall "MORI ARE YOU FUCKING INSANE?!" Mary yelled through the ear piece but before she could hurl anymore insults. Mori spoke but a single word. "Follow."

He RAMMED INTO THE WALL HEAD FIRST but instead of a splatter on the wall he dissappeared through it "what the fuck..?" I whispered to myself  exchanging look with mary ,showing her obvious distress, but with trust in her brother she too  began to head towards the wall disappearing just the same. I swallowed and braced myself. The wall got closer and closer, my body screaming at me to turn back, but by then, it was too late.

I covered my face with my hands and closed my eyes, suddenly coming to a stop as I got caught by the collar. "And that makes two. Good job, you little shits you know how to follow orders." mori held me by the collar of my suit."Oh god, I think I'm gonna throw up," I said as I covered my mouth."Yikes.. go do it in the corner." he let me go as I rushed towards a random corner and threw up. As I turn back, I see mary holding moris ear and twisting it. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT STUNT YOU PULLED?!" She yelled."I THOUGHT YOU DIED. DUMBASS." she kept yelling."ATLAS GET THIS DEMON OFF ME," Mori begged. "He-hey.. mary, maybe you shoul-" I tried to mutter out a sentence before swiftly getting cut off. "If you speak another word, Atlas, I swear to god I will skin you alive." She calmly stated. I raised my hands in surrender and slowly backed off as mori stared with betrayal from behind his glasses."I'll remember this Atlas.. I'll remember"

I decided to look around the strange place we were in. "The walls are strange.." I thought to myself as I ran my fingers along the surface."Rock.. instead of metal. And actual bookshelves." My mind kept running. "Mary, where are we at currently?" I call out to her, which finally makes her stop harassing mori and take out her GPS."That's strange.. It's not working." she bites her nail as she reconfigured the device, but to no avail. Finally turning towards mori, "Where the hell are we at?". "Well, my dear sister, we're in the lost city, of course." He smiled as he got up from the floor walking around her "To put it bluntly this place is a mindfuck Don't trust anything. Don't trust anybody. Don't trust your senses." His voice dropping with each syllable."Follow me or, well, you know. Bleh, " he slid his thumb across his neck,"ALRIGHT NOW LETS GO." he cheerily walked past the both of us and began to walk towards a door.

I quickly snatched a book from the shelf and opened the first page. The page is covered from top to bottom with 2 simple words. "DONT TRUST". I slam the book shut and put it back in its place "absolutely the fuck not. Nope." I quickly catch up with the two siblings."What was the hold-up Atlas?" Mary asked as she studied the surroundings as mori nonchalantly walked without a care in the world "I just grabbed a book and opened it, literally the first page was just FILLED with 'DON'T TRUST' like, shit was written in very dark red ink. Hell, I'd get it if it was written in blood or something." I told mary with my voice, slightly shaking. "Sounds ominous," she replied. "I KNOW," I replied back

Mori suddenly interrupted us. "So who's the patron that requested you two idiots to be a job?" he looked back at us with a raised eyebrow. "Someone named Mrs E." Mary replied as she took out a cigarette and placed it between her lips."Hey Atlas, mind helping?". "Oh yea, sure." I quickly lit her cigarette. "Smoking? I thought I tol-" mori tried to speak, but Mary held her hand up."No smoking when we're at base. But currently, we're off grid the lost city and all, so I'll take that smoke when I want," she proceeded to give him the bird. Which only got a simple surprised chuckle from mori. "During normal circumstances, I would've been livid. But right now. You're gonna need that and more." He shook his head slightly. "You two decided to take on Mrs.E's job without even giving me a heads up." He began to walk faster, lighting his own cigarette, taking deep huffs as we walked behind him. "You're about to be in for one hell of a time." he looked around and saw a window and jumped through it and landed on the roof of another building.
