A/N -  You've probably watched Roger's infamous interview on Saturday Scene with Sally James in 1976.  This chapter features this interview but it has been slightly altered.  Remember - this is fiction at the end of the day.

"Nice and messy."  Roger murmured to himself as he stood at the mirror and finished fluffing out his light blond hair.  Admiring the disheveled look he had gone for and setting down the hairspray can.  He walked back into the bedroom and pulled the black silk shirt from the hanger.  Sliding it on and over his large stomach as he buttoned it.  He walked to the full length mirror and checked his appearance.  The shirt left untucked to help cover his now dropped belly.  He didn't bother turning to look at his side view as he knew it would just make him grimace.  After putting on his watch and necklace he retrieved the shoes he wanted from the closet.

He sat down on the edge of the bed and attempted to lift his leg to put his socks on.  After several attempts, he sighed heavily and managed to collect his shoes from the floor and headed into the living room.

"You ready?"  Brian questioned as he heard Roger come in and he lowered the newspaper he was reading.  He saw his boyfriend holding up his shoes and socks and smiled at him sympathetically.   "Need some help?"  he asked as Roger stepped towards him.

"My stomach has dropped so low I can't manage it any longer."  Roger admitted as he plopped down in the arm chair and Brian set his newspaper aside.  Getting down on his knees in front of Roger and taking the socks from him.

"I've got you."  Brian assured him as Roger lifted his leg up and Brian slid the socks over his feet.  He then got the high top sneakers into place and tied the laces.  "Let me know if they're too tight."  he requested as Roger watched him make a bow.

"That's good."  Roger replied as Brian finished.  The blond put his feet down and Brian shuffled closer.  Leaning in and laying his chin on top of Roger's belly.  Looking up at his boyfriend with affection.

"You're still feeling up to the show?"  Brian asked him carefully.  "You seemed pretty restless last night so I imagine you're tired."  he said.  Hoping not to annoy Roger.

"I'm alright."  Roger assured him.  "Lots of movement.  And some heartburn."  he fibbed as Brian nodded understanding.  Roger enjoyed Brian's hands coming up to gently cup his stomach.  Brian bent his head and pressed a kiss to the belly.

"Try and give your Mum a break little one."  Brian told the bump as he gently rubbed at its sides. "Let him get through the show today." he requested as Roger smiled at his efforts.

"You can't reason with them Bri.  You know they have a mind of their own."  Roger pointed out as Brian kissed the bump again.  Thinking that description of the baby sounded just like Roger but would never verbalize it.

"I can try."  Brian responded playfully as he lifted himself up a bit higher and shared a slow sweet kiss with Roger.  Their lips parted and Brian gazed at Roger with adoration.   "You're so bloody beautiful." he declared in a soft, sweet tone.

"You're not so bad yourself."  Roger replied as they shared a tender expression of love between them.   "Now help me out of this chair. Crystal should be here any minute!"  he requested as Brian pulled himself up from the floor.   Taking Roger's hands and helping him rise from the chair.

"You need anything before you go?"  Brian asked him.  Roger began walking towards the hallway.

"Just the loo!  As usual!"  he replied as with a slight harrumph as he waddled down the hall towards the bathroom.  Looking forward to when he didn't need the toilet every hour.
