THE next day i dragged myself to school, i really wasnt looking forward to this day in particular since i had class with yn and i already know how awkward its gonna be

me and reo walked into class just on time and he sat down in his seat as i did the same, sitting next to yn

"hi nagi" she started as i replied with a quick 'hi' as well, dodging any sort of eye contact

"soo what did you do yesterday? sorry i didnt have time to hang out" she pouted

"oh no its fine i went to this festival with reo" i replied

"so how was your date thing with rin?" i asked blantly getting a giggle out of her

"oh it wasnt like that !! i mean he told me he wanted it to be a date but i told him that i already have someone i like" she explained as i felt a smile creep onto my face

hearing her say that felt like a burden being lifted before i heard that she already likes someone, the burdened feeling got brought back immediately, if she doesnt like rin who could it be ?

"ohh okay" i replied, i really had no idea what to say to be honest

soon enough the teacher walked in, so she got to her doodling while i just laid back and observed, throwing in a couple of comments about how pretty it was, in reality i was really commenting her but okay

when the bell rang we parted ways since we had different classes

as i was sitting with reo in english i heard my phone get a notification which is very uncommon since the only person that texts me is reo, so i curiously dug out my phone to see what it is

i smiled at her message and put my phone back in my bag, laying my head down on the table again

finally lunch came and as i walked into the cafeteria yn spawned right in front of me "hiiii, lets go?" she said smiling and i nodded

as we walked into the cafeteria everybody was giving us weird looks, i mean its not everyday you see the introvert x extrovert duo i guess

we sat down and started talking about genshin releasing the new region and giving our thoughts on it

"im definitely becoming a mavuika main, what about you?" she asked

and i said "i really like chasca, i got her actually im building a team for her right now" in reply

"ohhh thats coollll, i cant wait for mavuikas release im so spending money on her i dont care" she said giggling

"i mean from what ive seen she definitely worth the money not gonna lie"

and we continued talking and its like the 30 minutes flew by and the bell rang

"do you maybe wanna do this more often? i really like talking to you" yn asked shyly, as she said those words i felt my heart flutter, why did hearing those words feel so good to hear?

"yeah sure why not, lunch box friends" i replied as she smiled, her ears getting red

"are you okay your ears look really red" i asked as she shook her head and ran off
