Millie's POV
"You know they aren't really that bad." Draco said to me as I watch Crystal and Mattheo work on a potion.
"Why do you say that?" I asked turning to him as he read the instructions for the second time making sure we got the right ingredients.
"They aren't just your siblings you know?" I looked at him with a slight frown "Sorry half siblings they are my cousins." He said with a sad voice.
"I'm not ashamed of them tho. We were basically raised together. Since their mom was in Azkaban and their dad disappeared. My mom , their aunt my mom, helped take care of them." He explained looking at them with a foreign face I've haven't seen on Draco before.
"But they got the worse of the punishments in my opinion." He said sadly dropping his head "But now that their father and mother are back the punishments got way worse. Bellatrix does not touch them sometimes she defends them but there is only so much she can do you know?"
I look over to them feeling bad. I couldn't even imagine the punishments they have to endure. I think what would it have been like to be raised with them. What it would it be like to actually have Voldemort as a father.
"Yeah I feel bad now." I said looking back at him. "You should I feel terrible I was the main one to comfort them. Because my father would have got furious with my mother if she even tried to clean their wounds but she did the best she could as well. "
"You? You Draco Malfoy helped someone other than yourself." I said sarcastically as I saw him roll his eyes before stirring the potion we were working on. "I'm proud of you."
I said grabbing ahold of his hand. He put on a small smile and I saw his eyes lighten up a bit.
"Thank you." He said quietly. In that moment I felt someone looking at me I look up and straight across from me was Theo starring daggers into Draco. He met my eyes then looked down at my hand which was on top of Draco's .
I quickly moved my hand. Draco must have noticed and looked in the same direction as me to see an angry Theo Nott. "You know an angry Theo is fun to play against at quidditch practice." He said with a wink.
After Potions
"And what was that about?" Theo asked as I turned the corner out the potions classroom. "Calm down Theo we were just having a little heart to heart." I said putting my hand on his upper arm.
"Where were you this weekend I didn't see at all?" I asked him as we started walking to the grand hall. I look toward him as he stopped walking.
"There is something we need to talk about tonight." He said with a serious tone he barely uses. "Yeah ok where?" I asked a little worried.
"Astronomy tower." He said
"I actually have to go but look for my owl." He rushed out before giving me a kiss on the cheek before rushing off to Draco and Blaise who were coincidentally walking with Mattheo and Crystal. My heart dropped thinking of the realization of what might have happened.

Heyyy guys new chapter a little shorter than the others but the story is really moving along and a new chapter should be out every week until next week
