Chapter 1: Apology?

Pacifica's pov
There I was playing with a stupid flashlight after I've gotten insulted by Dipper. Why is it always my last name an issue to him? It's not like he or anyone else will understand me..

"Pacifica please answer me, where are you?" Dipper's voice echoed through the hallways, I'm aware of what I'm hearing but I don't wanna answer him, I'm not ready for another insult from someone I asked to help me.

Footsteps got closer and louder then I felt someone beside me, their presence was really comforting because it's obviously Dipper. Regardless of what happened earlier, after all it's still him who we're talking about.
"Pacifica, I'm really sorry for what I've said earlier I know I messed up and I don't mean to hurt you, I can't handle seeing you in such state because of my dumb mistake. "

I sniffled quietly, I still didn't want to talk to him but he was apologizing in the sweetest way possible, how can anyone resist that? Wait a second, No! I can't think that way, get a hold of yourself Paz!

I looked at him " Did you really have to say that Dipper? Are you that careless about what others think and feel?"
"Paz no! Of course not, you're important to me, you proved me tonight that you really are different from what I've viewed you earlier "
" Different in what way?"
He stayed quiet, was he just sugarcoating his fake apology and now he ran outta excuses?

I looked at the ground once again, lost in my own thoughts for a few minutes, the silence between him and I was really loud..

I felt him getting closer to me but I wasn't too bothered to even look at him.. He's hugging me? Wait what? Dipper?? He was hugging me really tightly but I liked it though, from the looks of it, it was obvious he won't let me go anytime soon.

"Dipper?"
"Stay quiet Paz"
