Hala's POV
Ayesha and I were having some coffee when amaan was ready to go to his office. I smirked when gave him a look. IYKYK.
"Amaan, when will you return?" He stopped when I questioned him. He was Puzzled why I was asking him.
"Umm.. I have a meeting at 5. I will return at 7. You want to go somewhere" he asked me.
"No but Ayesha was worried about your whereabouts" I replied innocently. Ayesha eyes popped out of her socket.
"Why did I asked??" She whispered near me.
"Haww.. why are you lying. You just did"i smirked when I saw Ayesha face.
"I didn't"
"I am going to the office" amaan informed while we were quarrelling.
"You are bad" Ayesha huffed.
"I know that.. you know where's Maryam"I questioned her.
"She's on a date with Yasir" Ayesha replied nonchantly.
"Ohh" This was the moment when Maryam entered through the main door with a 'dont fuck with me' face.
"What happened??" Ayesha asked in a worried tone sensing the atmosphere.
She narrated the whole story to us.

"Why did you told him that you have a fiancé" I asked her.
"So, what should I do.. let him think that he have a chance with me" Maryam said with guilt. She likes him. I know that . She will not accept it right now but I know.
"What your heart wants, Maryam??" Ayesha asked.
"Does that matter" she replied in a lost tone.
"It does. For me it does. For him it does. It does" I said waiting for the answer.
"My father will not accept it, hala. You know that. He have given his words to my fiance's family. He will not let his respect down. I can't let his respect down. I have to marry him either willingly or unwillingly" she cried.
"We will help you. Amaan, ahad will help you and first of all.. Yasir will devour the floor you will walk on. He is the one for you. Trust me" Ayesha said. I also feel that Yasir is the one for Maryam.
"Do you like him??" Maryam's answer will be everything. Either a beautiful love story or a forced marriage story. It's in her hand or I can say a answer.
Her answer left us stunned "I was a moth attached to his flame. A light away yet a life a far".
