In the beginning God created the heavens and earth, the universe as we know it forming with the earth at its center, expanding endlessly. And with the formation of earth, God created wildlife and living creatures, the lands and seas, the deep caverns and caves, and the tall mountains that reach to the heavens. He created good and evil, right and wrong, not butting in on any of these affairs. And lastly, he created the dominant species of the planet, Humans.
Once he was finished creating everyone and everything, God had four children.
The first child was named Celestia, the goddess of the skies, a god of freedom. She had long white hair and gray eyes, her skin the purest white.
The second child was named Enki, the god of the land and earth, a god of joy. He had tight knit black hair, braided into dreads that flowed down the back of his head in a ponytail. His eyes are the color hazel, with hints of the colors blue and green, his skin a chocolate brown.
The third child was named Mar, the goddess of the seas, a god full of love. Her hair was a dark brown, flowing down and laying on her shoulders. Her eyes were a deep blue, her skin extremely tan.
And finally, the last child was named Lucifer, a god who is known for one thing and one thing only, he is known as the symbol of fear. He had disheveled black hair, sticking out in a variety of directions, his eyes are different colors, his left eye a pure scarlet, his right eye a sky blue, his skin slightly tanned.
The oldest child, Celestia, traveled west to a continent that had been frozen over, ice and snow filling the entirety of its surface. Celestia took her place on Mount Chiru on the northern side of the continent, naming the continent Tesca.
The second child, Enki, traveled south to the Central Continent, taking his place at the center and creating his own kingdom, naming it the Ardhi Kingdom.
The third child, Mar, traveled around the earth, finding a place on the southwest coast of the central continent, where she now resides, naming the place Bayou Cove.
The youngest child, Lucifer, traveled as far south as he could, finding himself on the South Pole, now known as Uso. The once hellishly cold landmass was converted by Lucifer into a desert wasteland, various cities home to all sorts of races scattered throughout the windy plane.
As time passed, the energy of the gods slowly crept into the world, the various living creatures absorbing this energy until a point where they started creating it themselves. This energy was named mana. The humans of the world then went on to harness this energy, discovering new applications of this energy. They figured out that each human had in themselves something they called the four magical elements. The four magical elements are Air, derived from the goddess Celestia, Earth, derived from the god Enki, Fire, which is thought to be derived from the god Lucifer, and Water, derived from the goddess Mar. And along with these elements, some humans obtained their own unique magical abilities, setting themselves apart from the gods which created them.
These magical abilities created a new form of prejudice, distinguishing individuals by their elemental affinities and abilities, causing the shaping of human societal structure. Those who could wield powerful magic rose through these new hierarchies, forming the nobility and royalty system. While those who were not given the privilege of having powerful magic, were pushed down the natural hierarchy and regarded as trash.
This caused the five gods of the world to convene together, choosing whether or not to fix this hierarchy and bring about equality. Nearly all the gods decided against meddling in these new societal structures, believing it best to remove themselves from worldly affairs and allow the natural cycle of life to continue unimpeded. Although one of the gods disagreed with this sentiment, the youngest child of God, Lucifer, voted for the gods to bring about change. Adamant that they should fix these things, he declared war on the other four gods.
The announcement of a divine war sent shockwaves through the world. The gods and humans alike were stunned at the audacity of this one god. Mar, the goddess of the seas, chose to withdraw her vote to not intervene, leaving the conference as she did not want to fight in a war. Lucifer then left this conference, returning to Uso. After this, God, Enki, and Celestia made an alliance, in hopes of quickly defeating Lucifer.
In the 200 years following this declaration of war, it is assumed there was a period of great destruction and despair, as evidenced by the great scars upon the earth. It is also assumed that God, Enki, and Celestia were the victors in this war, attributed to the fact that God's domain still lay in perfect condition, with Uso free of Lucifer, who is assumed to be dead. 200 years stricken from the records of history, the historians who wrote down the history of this period seemingly forgotten, a period labeled the Lost Era.
