Baphomet grins down at them, his head resting on his right hand.
"No no no, there is no need to be scared, Katsu," Baphomet says, "I"m not going to attack you," he adds.
Erin unsheathes her sword, a blue arc of energy following it. Baphomet frowns at this, "little girl, put away your sword," he says, "or I shall take it," says Baphomet.
Katsu puts his hand on Erins shoulder, "we'll be fine, put it away," Katsu says. Reluctantly, Erin puts her sword away, stowing it in its rightful place in the sheathe on her back.
"Now, back to business," says Baphomet, smiling once again, "we aren't meant to meet yet, but a short conversation shouldn't hurt," says Baphomet.
At these words he gets up from his throne, walking down towards the pair. Katsu and Erin tense up but don't move. Baphomet reaches them, standing in front of Katsu. He leans down, face to face with Katsu, looking into Katsu's scarlet eyes.
"If he can even see me through that weird blindfold," Katsu thinks to himself.
"My blindfold isn't weird," says Baphomet, frowning.
Katsu takes a step back, "how did you know I was thinking that," asks Katsu, beginning to realize what Shaddai was talking about.
"You are in my domain, I know everything you are planning, thinking," says Baphomet, "I know your level of strength, mana amount, abilities and spells, I know everything about you," says Baphomet, smiling.
"Although for some reason I can't see the contents of your little dream last night," says Baphomet, "that doesn't happen very often, and when it does happen it usually has to do with God," says Baphomet, frowning.
"What is that old bat trying to hide from me now," says Baphomet.
"God?" says Katsu, "old bat?" says Katsu, having never heard someone talk down on God before.
"Hmm?" says Baphomet, "oh right, you guys still praise that old geezer huh," says Baphomet.
"I wouldn't say praise..." says Katsu, "I just haven't heard anyone talk about God like that," says Katsu.
"Yeah.." says Baphomet, "if I don't leave now I'm probably going to slip up and tell you guys something you shouldn't know," says Baphomet.
"What do you know that we shouldn't?" asks Katsu.
Baphomet steps closer to Katsu, their noses almost touching.
"I know many things, child," says Baphomet, "things that would turn this world upside down," says Baphomet.
At these words, the ground beneath Katsu and Erin opens. They fall into the darkness, staring at Baphomet as they fall.
"Have fun children," he says, "let's meet again when the time is right," he says, turning and walking away.
They suddenly stop falling and find themselves back at the exit from the stairs of before, the large pathway they had entered to find Baphomet now gone.
Katsu and Erin look at each other, then back at the dirt and rock filled cavern wall, where the pathway once was.
"Was that real?" Erin asks.
"Yeah, I think it was," says Katsu.
"Do we just continue on exploring the dungeon?" asks Erin.
"Well if we turn back now Griffin might get mad," says Katsu.
"You're probably right," says Erin, unsheathing her sword.
Without speaking another word, they go left, going deeper into the dungeon.
