The next day, Ava found herself eagerly anticipating her conversation with Daniel. They had been exchanging messages on Facebook for a week now, and each interaction felt like a small revelation, pulling them closer together.

Ava decided to message Daniel first. Hey! Are you still planning to scout for eligible guys at church today?

Daniel replied almost instantly. Of course! I'm on a mission to help you find your prince charming. What's your type again?

I'm not really picky, as long as he's kind and funny, Ava typed back, chuckling at her own words. And he should have a decent taste in coffee!

Coffee is crucial! What kind of coffee do you like?

I'm a fan of lattes. You?

Espresso! Straight to the point, just like me!

Ava laughed, shaking her head at the screen. Right, because you're always so straightforward!

Hey, if I'm going to help you find a guy, I have to be clear about my intentions, Daniel replied, teasingly. By the way, did you ever think about what you want in a relationship?

Not really. I guess I just want someone who understands me, someone who can make me laugh even when I feel down. It's simple but important.

That's a good approach. Laughter is a powerful glue. It's what keeps people together, Daniel mused. And a little coffee never hurts either!

Ava smiled, appreciating his thoughtful response. You're right! We should totally bond over coffee sometime.

Definitely! We can make it a coffee date. Just us two!

Ava's heart skipped a beat. A coffee date? Just the two of them? It felt exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time. Okay, let's do it! When?

How about tomorrow after class? I know a great little café that serves the best pastries to go with the coffee.

Sounds perfect! I'm looking forward to it!

After they exchanged a few more light-hearted messages, Ava couldn't help but think about how easy it was to talk to Daniel. Unlike Jeremy, who had brought chaos into her life, Daniel felt like a refreshing breeze, bringing laughter and warmth.

The following day, Ava arrived at the café early, her heart racing with anticipation. She ordered her usual latte and found a cozy corner table, watching the door for Daniel. A few moments later, she spotted him, walking in with an air of confidence.

"Hey! Sorry I'm late," Daniel said, grinning as he approached her. "Traffic was a nightmare!"

"No worries! I just got here," Ava replied, feeling a flutter in her stomach as she took in his appearance. He was wearing a casual shirt that highlighted his frame, and his hair fell perfectly into place.

They settled into their seats, and Daniel quickly ordered a coffee for himself. As they sipped their drinks, the conversation flowed effortlessly. They talked about everything from their favorite movies to their childhood memories, sharing laughs and playful banter.

"So, what's the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to you?" Daniel asked, leaning forward with genuine curiosity.

Ava couldn't help but giggle. "Oh man, there's a lot! But I think one time I tripped on stage during a school play. I fell flat on my face in front of everyone!"

"Wow! That sounds brutal," Daniel laughed, shaking his head. "But you know what? That's the kind of story that makes a person relatable. It shows you're human!"
