How do you navigate through a world that has always seemed just out of grasp? Isabela has always known how to navigate life without sight. Growing up in a small town on California's coast, she relied on her instincts, her unbreakable connection to the sea, and the guidance of her father, a world-renowned surfer. But when tragedy struck, she left the waves behind, trading the surf for the courtroom, determined to fight for the environment and carry on her father's legacy.
Now, at 23, Isabela is starting law school at Columbia University, with her best friend Julian by her side. Life in New York is fast, and chaotic, and loud-especially when Julian drags her to a sold-out concert for one of the biggest rock bands in the world: Blind Reckless.
In a chance encounter, Isabela stumbles into the band's dressing room and directly into the path of Enzo DeLuca, the band's enigmatic and arrogant lead guitarist. Known for his raw talent and brooding persona, Enzo is living the dream at the top of the charts, but behind the fame lies a restless heart haunted by expectations he can't escape.
