"Its so peaceful in here" taehyung says, inhaling the fresh air spread through the greenery park, as he and jungkook sat by the river.
Jungkook nods, smiling,"Right? This place always heals me."
Recalling their moments together,"Remember we used to come here very often. Back in our days." Taehyung looks up at jungkook, his eyes lighting up.
"Of course i do. Those days were the best. No works, no worries, just us and games." Jungkook shakes his head, smiling as he realizes, "I kinda hate growing up now."
In fact, they both do. But that's just how life works.
"But that's just how life works, we're by eachother's side for forever, isn's it something to be relieved about?"
"It is. I hope you dont leave m-" Jungkook's peaceful walk is abrupted when taehyung playful pushes him away,"of course i won't. How dare you doubt my love?!" Taehyung frowns, his hands over his hips.
Taehyung's demeanor earns a hearty laugh from jungkook, followed by taehyung himself.
Throwing his arms over taehyung's shoulder,"I get it. No need to be aggressive, hyung." He says, both of them walking side by side.
As they spend their time in the nostalgic park, they watch the sun set below the horizon, painting the sky with the hue of orange, red and a hint of pink, looking beautiful than ever.
All the memories of the past flooded back to them as taehyung laid his head on jungkook's shoulder. Growing up is never the dream, but that's just how life works.
"I dont know why but this feels so different" taehyung says quietly, as if afraid to break the serene atmosphere.
"Why?" Jungkook asks, just as gentle.
Taehyung stays silent, "It's just four days but, yeah... i'll miss you too"
This earns a smile from jungkook, in hus complete sense he gazes his hyung ober his shoulder. His face illuminated by the heavely hue of the sky.
"Aren't you a baby too"
"Maybe i am. You've always been the exception."
