Jin hasn't stopped screaming as he clutches her clothes in his hands. It is a terrible sounding scream. One filled with agony and despair at her disappearance. She has crossed their barriers already and is probably already in their clutches. Once Jin stops screaming, Pan speaks up.
"We need to go find her, now! We need to get into the Gods Region," he says with panic in his tone.
"Maybe we can save her," Luka says.
"How? We can't enter the Gods Region without them knowing?" Azrael says.
"And she played it smart. She put on a maid's dress to show them that she wasn't involved with us. If we go in there, they will know something is up," Reverie says.
Suddenly, an idea comes to mind.
"Let Kai and I go find her," I tell them. Jin looks towards me as tears of blood roll down his cheeks. Apparently, vampires cry blood. Interesting to know.
"How can you bring her back?" Jin asks me in a ragged tone. His throat must be sore from the screaming.
"Kai and I were sent here by the Gods to find her in the first place. We can return back to the Light Region and say we couldn't find her. We can pretend to still help to look for her and someone will know where she is. We can then go find her and bring her home," I explain.
"They would trust us and entering into any Region wouldn't be suspicious at all. You all can stay here, and they would be none the wiser," Kai says.
The Kings all look towards each other and think about this. They don't think long. It is truly the best solution er have at the moment.
"It's not bad," Azrael says.
"And it frees us from suspicion," Pan says as he dismisses the Shadow Dog from his sight and the Dog runs past us.
"It will work. We have their alliance and trust. If it doesn't, then you all can come," I tell them.
Jin nods at me and stands from his knees. He uses the back of his hand to wipe the teared blood from his face. "You will bring her back to me?" He asks, almost pleading.
"Of course," I say, and Kai and I bow to him.
"Alright then. Bring our Queen back home to us," he nods and goes towards the doors. Roc let's him go and I assume he is going to his room with his children.
"When will you leave?" Lucifer asks me.
"Now. It will take us a while to reach the Light Region, but we will return with her as soon as we can," I tell him.
Lucifer nods at me and then walks off shaking his head. I can hear him muttering. "Stupid, stupid girl," he says to himself as he walks towards his room.
