Well, there's nothing much to say about me except that my life is a living hell. My father is a drunk who drinks his problems away and my mom, who is too scared to stand up for my little sister Zoey and I, much less herself. My dad abuses both me and my mom, but never touches Zoey thanks to me. Whenever things get too rough, I usually take Zoey with me and stay at either Maria or Jaime's house. I'm saving up my money from my job as a waitress at a Dominican restaurant just a couple blocks away from my house, so that in 4 months when I turn 19 I’ll buy my own flat and adopt Zoey. Well, I got to go now my dad just arrived.
